This innovative concept-store allows children of any age to create their own special friend … right down to a name and birth certificate! Children can choose from a selection of nearly 60 items including traditional teddy bears, animals, dolls and even licensed cartoon characters including Hello Kitty, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, SpongeBob SquarePants and more.
Toddlers will be over the moon in Kiddy Land; a fenced-in area designed specifically for little tots, the zone is overflowing with bright, fun kiddy rides. School-aged children can have a round of mini golf and then try their luck at one of the many ticketed games in hopes of taking home a special prize just for them. Even parents will enjoy the centre, as they tackle arcade games such as Deal or No Deal, or amp up the action in the Typhoon Simulator, delivering up to 2 g’s of acceleration and up to 400 movements per second. There’s also laser skirmish, a 4D haunted house arcade game (available for ages 15 and up), bowling games and the classic arcade ride – dodgem cars! Timezone is open from 9am until midnight. TIP: purchase a package deal, which affords you unlimited games and rides for one or two hours.

Children not only select a toy and outfit, but they can also stuff it to their personal level of cuddliness by choosing their ‘snuggability’ rating in store. Add to that a secret wish to give your special friend a heartbeat, and you’ve truly created a unique gift to celebrate your holiday. Register your new friend with a birth certificate, and pack them up in their cardboard house, and they’re ready to take home!

This world-renowned museum for the wild and wacky will amaze and enthral with its unique display of bizarre artefacts from around the globe. From shrunken heads and dinosaur eggs, to replicas of the world’s tallest man, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium is just as educational as it is fun. Take a self-guided tour through the myriad of themed galleries and explore hundreds of exhibits and interactive displays at your own pace – there’s even an unforgettable movie for your viewing pleasure! Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium is open 365 days a year from 9am until 11pm and is suitable for all ages. TIP: If you’ve had enough sun for one day, this is a great place to stay cool without dampening the fun factor.
Build-a-Bear Workshop is open from 9am until 7pm Monday – Wednesday and from 9am until 9pm Thursday through to Sunday. TIP: Extend the fun by giving the kids some crayons to decorate their cardboard houses with when you get home – another feature unique to your creation!
