Join Little Musicians Teacher Bara for Music Together Classes. During class, you will sing, dance, and play instruments to songs. These fun activities are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers to participate in regardless of their own musical ability. Your tuition includes our Music Together Fall Bongos collection, CD, and song book, including digital access to your music. Infant siblings under 8 months may attend for free. Siblings over 8 months can enroll at a discounted tuition. Makeup classes are available!

Little Chipperswoodworking

AGES 3-4 WITH AN ADULT WITH WOODWORKERS ACADEMY, RYAN BONNER

Our popular woodworking class is now available for preschoolers! We teach children the safe-use of woodworking with hand-tools. While building their projects from scratch, children are introduced to concepts of applied math, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and empowered to become independent thinkers. Our motto: Building confidence and teaching with respect and humor in a safe and happy environment. Lab fee $40, payable to Woodworkers Academy on first class date.

Dance Academy Of American Dance

at Academy of American Ballet, 2555 Middlefield Rd, Redwood City

PRE-BALLET

AGE 3½-6

Get your little dancer moving in this age-appropriate dance class where they will learn about space, rhythm, balance, stretching, and jumping. Ballet is explored in fun and creative ways using dance games, simple barre exercises and obstacle courses. Props such as parachutes, beanbags, instruments, and dance wands are also utilized to enhance the child’s experience. Uniform- Ballet dress or leotard in pink, lavender or light blue, pink tights and pink ballet shoes or black dance/bike shorts with a plain white t-shirt and black ballet shoes.

Little Ballet Tap

AGE 3½-6

This class creatively combines basic ballet movement in a fun way and explores dance concepts for children such as an understanding of space, rhythm, balance, stretching, and jumping that translate to many dance forms.. The second part of the class explores dance moves and skills with tap shoes. Uniform - Ballet dress or leotard in pink, lavender or light blue, pink tights and pink ballet shoes, and tap shoes or black dance/bike shorts with a plain white t-shirt and black ballet and tap shoes.

Jazz Hip Hop

AGE 4-7

Your little ones will learn basic jazz and hip hop steps while developing their sense of rhythm, posture, and balance in a fun, and engaging environment. Uniform- Solid black jazz pants and ballet and/or jazz shoes available at Academy of American Dance. Girls wear leotard and boys wear solid white T-shirt.

Watch as your child discovers the joy of music and dance with Miss Angie! In this hands on class, your little one can enjoy singing along to our favorite childhood songs, and learn how to move their bodies to music. Enjoy engaging with your child in this fun and gentle introduction to dancing! Caregiver participation is required.

Tiny Dancer

AGE 3-4

WITH ANGIE FRIBOURGH

Come experience the joy of dance with Miss Angie! Your tiny dancer will learn both ballet and tap technique and terminology, how to count music, and how to move their bodies to the beat! We learn a new routine each session and will have a performance on the last day of class. Watch your child discover a love of movement with the support of a very encouraging and caring teacher. Ballet and tap shoes are required

Theater New Baby Play

In this lively 50-minute class, you’ll get to spend quality time with your little one, exploring, playing and experimenting on their level! Together we’ll check out different props, sing, dance, and read stories to engage and delight your baby’s growing mind. Little ones will get to socialize and practice being in a classroom environment, while caretakers will discover fun new ways to play with baby at home.

PRESCHOOL MUSICAL THEATER:

Enchanting Encanto

AGE 3-5

WITH SAN CARLOS CHILDREN'S THEATER

Introduce your preschooler to the fun and excitement of theater arts! Using a song from the popular film Encanto and lots of imaginative games, we’ll explore how to express ourselves through singing, dancing and acting. Children will build confidence and stretch their imaginations as they develop the building blocks of musical theater. Class ends with a showcase performance for families.

Tiny Spotlight

AGE 1-3

WITH SAN CARLOS CHILDREN'S THEATER

You and your little one will discover the joys of singing, dancing and playing make believe in this fun, highly engaging class for young children and their special grown up. We’ll explore sound and rhythm as we sing and dance to popular children’s songs. And, we’ll stretch imaginations as we read our favorite storybooks and play make believe together. If you don’t know the songs or stories, don’t worry! We’re here to teach you and your little one. Adult participation is key to helping toddlers gain the confidence to explore and learn.
