Red multi-gather vase | $330 Donna McCord has been involved with the glass program at Pratt for over a decade, and she teaches the intermediate glassblowing class. She is interested in how glass can bring us into deeper awareness of our environment. To create this piece Donna gathers part way up the bubble multiple times to create the horizon lines on this piece. That process also allows the color to fade to clear towards the bottom of the vase.

It incorporates a variety of glazes and underglazes to create interest on all sides of the form.
