GLOBAL BRANDS IN LOCAL SHORES Filipinos are most enthusiastic consumers when it comes to foreign brands. No wonder a lot of foreign brands have opened stores in the Philippines to tap the Filipino market. From Louis Vuitton, which opened a two-storey flagship store in Greenbelt 4 in 2011, Lacoste, Zara, Gucci, Hermes, Ferragamo to UK retail franchisees Debenhams, Marks& Spencers, Speedo, Topshop. Dorothy Perkins, Burberry and Paul Smith, to Korea’s The Face Shop and to Singapore’s Charles & Keith, truly, the world is all eyes on the Philippines. Other popular brands such as Forever 21, Juicy Couture, Cache Cache, Tory Burch, Repetto, Paris Hilton Shop, Muji, Payless, Natori, Jamba Juice, Delsey, P. F. Chang and Tommy Hilfiger have also opened their stores and received warm and profitable welcome from Filipino shoppers. Furthermore, the much awaited international brand Uniqlo will open its doors for Filipino consumers this June 2012.
