Some ideas for you: ~ Rather than having fast food and dessert on a regular basis, make "ice cream dates" a special occasion with your family. With small kids, discuss it while you're eating focusing on the color, texture, and temperature of the ice cream. ~ Go for a drive. No really! Go out and drive around, with no intention of going anywhere. Open your eyes to see interesting or unusual buildings and landscapes. Discuss what the land would have looked like years ago. Talk about how different things would feel if you didn't have an air conditioned or heated car. ~ Find a flower, either purchased or picked, and study the details of it. Notice the colors, shapes, and seeds. If God put this much time and effort into creating little flowers, how much more care did He put into creating us?
