Weld RE-4 School District

The Weld RE-4 School District is known for its superior schools and hometown feel. We are located in western Weld County and serve Windsor, Severance, and portions of West Greeley and unincorporated Weld County. Our school district serves more than 6,000 students in nine traditional schools and a K-12 charter.

We strive to inspire innovation and empower success for every student in every classroom through our comprehensive academic programs as well as our International Baccalaureate, project-based and inquiry-based learning, and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) options. At our high schools, students have access to Advanced Placement® courses and dual-credit and concurrent enrollment programs. Students have the opportunity to explore potential career paths through a variety of programs, such as Culinary Arts, Industrial Design and Technology, and Agriculture.

In Weld RE-4, we align our resources with personnel, programs, and services that allow us to meet the individual needs and interests of the students in our community.

Grandview Elementary School (K–5) Grandview Elementary is a close-knit neighborhood school that offers families a comprehensive K–5 program and a quality learning environment that celebrates its students and community.

Range View Elementary School (K–5) Range View Elementary is an International Baccalaureate World School where students develop into creative, independent, internationally-minded, lifelong learners.

Skyview Elementary School (K–5) Skyview School of STEM utilizes innovative, inquirybased methods to focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), turning students’ natural curiosity into deep and engaged learning.

Tozer Primary School (K–2) & Mountain View Elementary School (3–5) Together, Tozer Primary School and Mountain View Elementary School develop curious, independent problem-solvers through project-based instruction.

Severance Middle School (6–8) Severance Middle School supports students on their journey to become lifelong learners and problem–solvers in an environment that promotes enthusiasm for education and surrounds students with opportunities for learning.

Windsor Middle School (6–8) Windsor Middle School’s strong traditions are balanced with state-of-the-art technology that sparks creativity and critical thinking and instills a love of learning in students.

Severance High School (9-10*) Severance High School is a comprehensive high school that provides a wide range of instruction and activities that simultaneously allow students to gain in-demand workforce skills while preparing for college.

Windsor High School (9-12) Windsor High School students build skills and knowledge through a cross-curricular experience and entrepreneurial focus that allows them to progress toward their future education and professions every day.

Windsor Charter Academy (K-12) Windsor Charter Academy provides a challenging academic program based on the Core Knowledge curriculum that promotes academic excellence, character development, and enthusiasm for lifelong learning. The mission of the school is to develop in each child the love of learning, the ability to engage in critical thinking, and to demonstrate mastery of the academic building blocks necessary for a successful future.
