Situated near Interstate 25, Windsor is in close proximity to the metropolitan cities of Denver, Boulder and Cheyenne, Wyoming. In addition, Windsor is centrally located between the major communities of Greeley, Fort Collins and Loveland.

Highway 392 runs east to west through the heart of Windsor and can connect travelers to Interstate 25 to the west and State Highway 85 to the east. A short trip south on Interstate 25 will bring travelers into the mile high city of Denver. Boulder is also easily accessible to travelers, who can take nearby Highway 119, which intersects Interstate 25 just a few miles south of Loveland.

Air travelers can take advantage of flying into or out of the Denver International Airport. Denver International Airport is the only major airport to be built in the United States in the last 25 years. DIA has the only passenger bridge in the United States where you can watch an airplane taxi beneath you. Renowned for its beautiful terminal and passenger convenience, travelers to Windsor will appreciate the many conveniences offered by having a nearby world-class airport. Additionally, the Fort CollinsLoveland Airport and the Greeley-Weld County Airport are just a short 15 minutes from Windsor. Both airports are capable of handling larger business aircraft.

Both Larimer and Weld counties boast major arterials, allowing for easy interstate access.
