Cruise the Tri-State Hod Rod Revival

Friday, Aug 19, 2022 kicks off the 7th Annual Tri-State Hot Rod Revival atthe Julesburg Dragstrip, Oldest Track in the Country. At dusk, enjoy the Nitro Car display atthe courthouse; the cackle fest is acrowd pleaser.

Friday night isCruise Night and has grown year over year. Car enthusiasts travel near and far totake part incruisin’ Main (Cedar) Street in Julesburg and parading in muscle cars, antiques, rat rods and motorcycles and one-of-a-kind automobiles. Racing memorabilia and local racing history can be found on display. Food vendors, music and families make this aspectacular event not to miss.

Held annually at the Julesburg Dragstrip, which isthe oldest drag racing track inthe country, the Tri-State Hot Rod Revival draws crowds numbering 2,000 to3,000 people.

Take a cruise into Julesburg on Friday, Aug.19, where there will be fun for the whole family.Makeaweekend of it and attend the Tri-State Hot Rod Revival on Saturday and Sunday, Aug.20-21 at the JulesburgDragstripto visit the many cars on exhibit and drag racing.

This one-of-a-kind car was a fan favorite during the 2021 Cruise Night. Called the Karmadillo, this piece of art cruised Julesburg and was later on display. It is owned by the Art Cartopia Museum of Trinidad,Colorado.
