Armando Silva came to Northern Colorado when he was 5 years old from Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico. He became immersed in pop culture in America and found he had a knack for the visual and performing arts. Since then he has become a staple in the artistic community. “I believe with my artistic powers I have a responsibility within my community to lead, educate and give back.”

Colorado’s premier summer event celebrates freedom with a series of Superstar concerts, a carnival, parade, a firework show like no other, rodeos, a car show and food court with local fares. Lynn Bassett has been teaching dance since 1973 and is trained in tap, jazz and ballet. She started her studio in the basement of her parents’ home over 40 years ago and has since seen it grow to what it is today. Lynn is dedicated to bringing the best of dance education and instruction to her school.

Known as “Downtown Greeley’s live music destination,” the Moxi Theater features a mix of well-known and upcoming musicians in a venue that feels up close and personal. The theater features a full bar and ample room for dancing.

BEST FUNDRAISING EVENT RELAY FOR LIFE

The signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life is organized entirely by volunteers as a way to honor cancer survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and raise money to help erase cancer. The last Relay for Life event in Greeley raised nearly $250,000 for cancer research and patient care programs.

2ND: Festival of Trees 3RD: Greeley OktoBrewFest BEST MUSICIAN THE BURROUGHS

The Burroughs are on their way to becoming a claim to fame for Greeley. The nine-piece band has been playing its signature “Sweaty Soul Music,” since 2013 and recently released their full-length studio album, “Got To Feel.” Not only do they rock hard, they give back to their community through music clinics and joint performances with high school bands around the city.
