SHANE, WHEN YOU VENTURE NORTH OF MIAMI/DADE COUNTY LINE, WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO? SHANE: You know, I love to take Virgin Train USA and take my family to The Breakers. One of the best resorts in the country, and there’s nothing better than just having a mimosa by the water and watch the waves crash in and get a round of golf at the course there or go play Seminole or PGA National. Jumping on the train … and then an hour and 20 minutes later we’re in West Palm with Wi-Fi, with beverage service — it was a really easy trip. My family loved it and my kids always beg me to find excuses to ride the train and go to Fort Lauderdale or West Palm.
TYLER, WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST THOUGHT UPON EXPERIENCING OUR SOUTH FLORIDA TRAFFIC? TYLER: Uh, yeah — it was a little different coming from Milwaukee and Kentucky where the traffic isn’t too bad. [Coming] to a bigger city like Miami, just going to have to plan around however long it takes to get from one spot to another. SHANE: The best piece of advice is to use Waze or Google Maps. It may take you some funky routes, but it will save you some stress in the end.
WHAT OTHER STORIES HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT SOUTH FLORIDA LIFE? TYLER: I hear [South Florida] is fast. It can catch up to you if you let it, so obviously enjoy and have fun, but knowing the reason [I’m] here is to play basketball. SHANE, WHAT DID YOU THINK OF TYLER’S DRAFT NIGHT WARDROBE? SHANE: You know, he showed me something. You gotta have confidence. If you don’t have confidence, the league will eat you up. So Tyler showed me that he’s got confidence that he can pull off any look, and that’s going to serve him well on the basketball court. ●

I never knew that South Florida had such a prominent horse scene, so now my wife competes in reining championships. I’d like to thank UD for introducing us to the horse country of South Florida.

A really fantastic food court, a beer garden now that’s open — I know you’re going to rush over to AmericanAirlines to grab your seats, but if you have time, take in all the new features of the station.
