Obviously, one of the key details of the paintwork of cars is to identify and locate the right shade. The Colour Processes course covers chromatology and the physics of colour and how this can be used in practice for lacquering and evaluating variants. We also teach the use of PPG’s colour tools, as well as the specific information required when using the PaintManager® XI system and the RapidMatchTM GO spectrophotometer. The course will also focus on PPG’s Prime and Variant Colour Match System.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the physics of colour and how variations in light may affect your choice of variant. Participants will be able to use this understanding to compensate for variations in light, as well as to adjust the each variant to match individual repairs exactly, minimising the risk of errors.
