In this workshop, you will become familiar with LEAN, one of the most widely recognised analysis and working methods for optimising companies that work with production processes.
The course allows you, as a manager, to optimise efficiency in your workshop by eliminating bottlenecks and having greater understanding of the LEAN method’s KPIs. It also shows you how greater insight will allow you to identify various alternatives for splitting up the work processes in the workshop.

Understanding paradigm change: What are paradigms and how are they relevant for your business? What significance does this have for you as a manager, and what happens when they change?

Basic principles of LEAN for the aftermarket: Learn how you can measure your workshop’s efficiency and how you can easily find the lowest hanging fruit in the hunt for a more efficient repair process.

The basic LEAN tools and KPIs: Here, you will be presented with a number of simple tools for identifying bottlenecks in your workshop, which you can then take home and use to optimise your day-to day work.

Process design & resource planning: Find out how to identify redundant or inappropriate sub-processes in your workshop. You will then be able to develop new, better and more appropriate work processes.

Organising the workshop according to the 5S principles: Far too much time in day-to-day workshop work is spent looking for tools. With 5S, you learn how your workshop can gain from having the right things in the right place.

Implementation & change management: Changes in the employees’ working day can be difficult to adjust to. Learn how you can introduce changes in the workshop and ensure that the employees work with you and can see how they benefit from the changes.
This LEAN course has been carefully adapted to the requirements and challenges that paintshops face. You can therefore be sure that the course is relevant for you and can easily be transferred to your day-to-day work.
