The Peoria Park District has stored value gift cards that may be purchased for use at any of the Golf Courses, Aquatic Centers, Recreation Centers, RiverPlex Recreation & Wellness Center, Peoria Zoo, Luthy Botanical Garden, Owens Center, etc. The card may be programmed to store any amount, i.e., a $5 teacher’s gift, a Golf Pass, a RiverPlex membership, a season of camp, or whatever programs, events, or activities you desire. Gift cards may be re-loaded for future added convenience. Gift cards are available at most Peoria Park District locations. Ask about purchasing one today!

In 1997 the Peoria Park District Foundation was formed as a 501 (c)(3) corporation to facilitate charitable, scientific and educational donations. These contributions will be used to aid and encourage in the acquisition, development, preservation

Let’s Go SLEDDING! The Peoria Park District has a supervised sledding area in Detweiller Park (8327 N. Galena Road). The area is located in the north parking area by the Pine and Dogwood Shelters. It is open following adequate snow fall according to the following schedule: weekdays, noon until dark; weekends and holidays, 10:00 am until dark. Sledding is only permitted when snow is covering the sledding area. Toboggans are NOT allowed on Park District properties.
