Prof. DefanI is an eminent academic, United Nations Senior Advisory for South Continents, Women’s Global Peace Ambassador, author, internationally recognised and experienced in environment, climate change, global sustainability with a career dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing ecological and sustainability challenges of our time. She is also a muti award winner. Her expertise as a trainer, auditor and assessor in environmental and Women educations issues has enabled her to develop and implement environmental strategies, policies and action plans leading to sustainable pollution control, waste management, recycling, public health, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy for many public and private sector institutions. Her extensive academic and consultancy work has enabled her to positively engage and contribute to sustainable progress and future developments.

With over 25 years of experience, Professor Delfani has led groundbreaking studies on climate change, waste to energy, carbon sequestration, circular economy, shaping policies and strategies at national and international levels.
