Tammi’s personal ability to GET UP and WIN has been exhibited by her journey in corporate America, where she began her professional career as a clerk with UT Health Science Center and worked her way up to an Accountant position. Over the years, she excelled in the Corporate workforce, obtaining numerous promotions with various companies in leadership positions. Her Corporate Training in Effective Communication, Presentation Skills and Curriculum Development allow her to tailor her approach to serve groups as well as individuals with specific needs. On countless occasions, she was appointed to train, host seminars and lead projects and initiatives for global companies, which gave birth to her very own training and development company, Tammi Durden International, LLC. She holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston, as well a Certified Training Professional certification from Texas A&M University and holds a certification in Change Management which makes her a standout when it comes to creating and delivering both inspirational and professional training.

She founded her own non-profit, Tammi Durden Ministries International (a women’s empowerment organization) and served several years as Executive Pastor of New Faith Praise and Worship Center Church in Houston, Texas. She wanted to make sure that her message was available in multiple formats in order to empower as many women as possible. Her latest book release, I Don’t Look Like What I’ve Been Through – 7 Steps to Turn Your MESS into a MASTERPIECE has truly made an impact on the masses. Not surprising seeing as how Tammi’s mission for the women of the world is to help them take over and look good while doing it. As a single mother of one daughter, Tammi loves to shop (of course), travel, golf and run marathons both nationally and internationally. She happily lives in Houston, Texas with her family.
