My name is Clara Rufai (also known as THE SHINE STRATEGIST) I live in London with my family. I'm a Corporate Lawyer, Compliance Professional, Entrepreneur, Speaker, Coach, Mentoring leader and Podcaster.

I hold a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with over 30 years work experience, within the financial services sector. I'm also an Author, Book Consultant, Storyteller, and a Business Leader, with multiple awards and recognitions for my work some of which include: Iconic Woman Award, Greatness Award, Power House Global Award, & Humanity Award to name a few. The Republic of Women Recognition as one of ‘#100Women’ for ‘Social Work & Women’s Empowerment’. ‘Officially Amazing’ recognition by 'The Republic of Women' Inducted into The World Book of Greatness 2020 as a ‘Creator of Greatness’. UK Country Director, International Youth Society.

I'm President/Founder of The SHINE ZONE, a social enterprise specialising in leadership, personal development and empowerment while creating platforms, resources, and tools for individuals and businesses to find their Shine Zone(s) and thrive. I'm the CEO and Editor-In-Chief of SHINE Magazine. I'm also the Lead Mentor at the Shine Mentoring Hub (TSMH).

I'm the Creator of the SHINE PHILOSOPHY and various platforms, which I use to empower people to S.H.I.N.E; ie (S)tart (H)arness (I)dentify (N)etwork and (E)xpress their Brilliance, so that they can travel on a more rewarding and personally fulfilling path in life.

I'm the Host of the weekly SHINE CAPSULES Podcast, the quarterly SHINE HAPPY HOUR networking sessions, the Convener of the annual LEAP AND SHINE CONFERENCE, and the Founder of the annual SHINE LEGACY AWARDS.

I serve as DIRECTOR of Strategy & Planning within The POWER TEAM, the Core Advisory Council for the G100 Media Arts & Communication, a sector-wing of the G100, the governing body of the All Ladies League (ALL), the Women Economic Forum (WEF), SHEconomy, the policy advocacy body, Women Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI).
