This brochure features every break available at Potters Resort through to the end of August 2018. However, a brochure can never fully describe the inclusive, welcoming and friendly atmosphere that our guests tell us is the essence of Potters. We don’t do national advertising campaigns, so are very grateful to be able to rely almost solely on the positive word of mouth from our guests who have enjoyed the Potters experience first-hand. We hope that you will join them and, once you have tried Potters Resort for the first time, will help us to spread the word of our hidden gem by the sea. As a family, and on behalf of our 580 strong friendly team, we look forward to welcoming you to Potters Resort in 2017 and beyond. We are sure you can appreciate we do book up early on many breaks, so please reserve your preferred break as soon as you can. C) The person making the reservation must be aged 18 or over and have the authority of all persons named on the reservation to commit them to these Terms and Conditions. D) You may pay the deposit by Debit, Credit Card or Cheque, which is due immediately you confirm your reservation. If you are making a reservation within 56 days of the start of your holiday, full payment is due. DEPOSIT: A deposit is required to be paid for every adult (16 years or above) on the booking: £30 on breaks of less than three nights in duration, £40 on all other breaks. The deposit paid (or due) will be shown on your confirmation. We strongly recommend Potters Cancellation Protection for your peace of mind and you will be asked to accept or decline this at the time of confirming your reservation. As Cancellation Protection cover is effective immediately your reservation is confirmed, premiums are never refunded. Please see Cancellation Protection details on this page and note that Deposits are not covered and therefore not refundable. BALANCE OF HOLIDAY COST: The balance of the holiday cost (Break charges, plus Cancellation Protection, accommodation or other supplements and additional chargeable items, less any deposits paid) will be detailed on your Holiday confirmation that we will send you. The balance of your holiday cost must reach us not later than 8 weeks (56 days) prior to the start of your holiday. Reminders are not sent so please keep your confirmation in a safe place. If the balance of your holiday is not received in full by this date we reserve the right to treat your reservation as cancelled and to apply the cancellation charges set out in the ‘Cancellation By You’ paragraph. If your reservation is made within 56 days of the start of your holiday the balance is due immediately. Within 14 days of arrival, a Debit or Credit Card payment is required at the time of making your reservation. PAYMENT OF HOLIDAY: If payment is made by cheque or postal order, these must be made payable to ‘Potters Leisure Ltd’. Payment may also be made using most Debit Cards or Visa, MasterCard and American Express Credit Cards. At the time of making your reservation or at any time before the balance is due, you may give Potters the authority to debit your Debit or Credit Card with any outstanding balance automatically on the day the balance is due. Due to credit card transaction charges, where you choose to pay by

CANCELLATION (BY YOU) CHARGES: The following charges apply to all cancellations by you: Cancellation up to 56 days prior to the holiday date: Loss of deposit and Cancellation Protection premium. Cancellation within 56 days of the holiday date: Total Holiday Cost (Break charges, plus Cancellation Protection, accommodation or other supplements and additional chargeable items). If you have taken Cancellation Protection these charges may be refundable see Cancellation Protection section. CANCELLATION AFTER START OF HOLIDAY: Where a guest detailed on your Reservation has to cancel their holiday after commencement due to any reason refunds are not given. If you have taken Cancellation Protection please see ‘CANCELLATION AFTER START OF YOUR HOLIDAY’. IF WE CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION: Very occasionally, it may be necessary for us to make changes to holiday details and to our brochure both before and after your reservation has been confirmed. As this is usually the result of circumstances totally outside of our control, we must reserve the right to do so. Most changes will be of minor nature. If however there is a particular service or facility that you require or anything which you feel is a major reason for selecting the particular Potters Holiday you are requested to advise us in writing. We undertake to acknowledge in writing all such requests. Should you not make any such request in writing, it is contractually agreed that the provision of any such service or facility is a minor part of your overall Potters Holiday. In the rare event of our having to make a major change, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will then offer you the choice of A) accepting the changed arrangements, or B) purchasing an alternative holiday, if available (and paying or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference), or C) cancelling your holiday and receiving a full and prompt refund of all monies paid. If you choose A or B we may pay you compensation as shown below. If you choose C we will refund all the money you have paid to us plus compensation shown below. However, in no case will we pay compensation if the major change is made as a result of unusual and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, e.g. natural disasters, fire, industrial disputes, technical problems, bad weather, acts of government, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care.

Credit Card a charge of 1.5% will be made in respect of each payment. The charge for American Express card payments is 3%. There is no charge for Debit Cards.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING AND YOUR CONTRACT: When you make your reservation you will be required to confirm your booking and by doing so you will be entering into a Contract with Potters Leisure Limited and these Booking Terms & Conditions will apply. For legal reasons it is a requirement that you agree to temporary membership of Potters Residential, Squash & Social Club which is automatically included for the duration of your holiday. If for any reason in the future you have to cancel your reservation, cancellation charges will be incurred. In all cancellation circumstances the deposit payment is forfeited. This contract is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

0 – 42 days: £5 on holidays less than 7 nights / £10 on all other holidays.

On receipt of your deposit, we will send you written confirmation of your reservation. PRICE PROMISE: The prices shown in this brochure supersede and update all previous publications and will apply to all bookings made after 1st July 2017. All prices are per person for the duration shown, occupying standard bungalow accommodation and are inclusive of VAT at prevailing rate. We reserve the right to alter all prices at any time before confirming your reservation. The price of your holiday shown on your confirmation (Break charges, plus Cancellation Protection, accommodation, other supplements and addition chargeable items) will not be changed except through governmental action (e.g. an increase in the rate of VAT) or if the break is substantially changed. AMENDMENTS TO YOUR RESERVATION: After your confirmation has been issued you may wish to make some amendments to your reservation. We will always try to meet with your request however a charge of £6 per person per amendment will be made. Where major amendments (change of date or duration) are made within 56 days of the start date of your holiday, this will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the ‘Cancellation Charges’ shown.

CANCELLATION BY YOU: It may be necessary for you to cancel your holiday. In the majority of cases your Cancellation Protection, if taken, will cover the payments arising from cancellation. In the event of cancellation your Deposit and Cancellation Protection premiums are not refundable. If you cancel within 56 days of the start of your holiday and have not taken Cancellation Protection you will remain liable to pay the full holiday cost.

POLICY OF FAIR TRADING: We take every care to ensure that the details of our brochure are accurate with regard to the descriptions of the services and facilities available or planned to be available at Potters. The operation of Potters is subject to legislation and guidelines laid down by the ‘Health & Safety Executive’ and Local Authorities and their codes of practice. We accordingly reserve the right to adjust our services in order to meet these standards. All photographs used in our brochures are intended for general guidance only. It is possible that in some circumstances, some accommodation or a particular facility may have to be temporarily withdrawn, due to maintenance, renovation, adverse weather conditions, changes in governmental legislation, or any other factor outside of our control. We therefore reserve the right to make such alterations in the above circumstances without prior notice, and are unable to accept liability for the loss of an advertised facility, or to pay any compensation for any inconvenience caused.

who is a convicted child sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice.

The incredible demands of Potters entertainments programme means we cannot guarantee that any individual principal in the Potters Theatre Company or Mark Brewer will be able to appear on every show or on every Break. All reservations are accepted under the condition that while artistes featured have been contracted in good faith, prior to publication of the brochure (July 2017), should unforeseen circumstances arise beyond our control Potters reserve the right to substitute another act/artist without prior notice or refund. Any compensation payments due to change of visiting acts/entertainment will be made at the discretion of Potters Leisure Ltd. and in all cases will be limited to an amount equal to the fee which the original artiste was contracted, less the amount due to be paid to a replacement artiste (if any) and the resulting figure shared equally amongst the number of full paying bona fide adult guests resident when the non-appearance occurred. For the purpose of calculating compensation, all figures will be net of VAT.

For health and safety reasons and to protect all of our guests we cannot accommodate anyone who has or has just had an infectious or contagious medical condition, without a doctor’s certificate to confirm that any such condition is no longer contagious. You should inform us immediately should any such condition develop in any member of your party at any time within the 14 days prior to your arrival date. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that Norovirus and/or similar contagious bugs, which spread from person to person either directly or indirectly via surfaces, can be present in the general population at large and can affect any public space, are beyond our control. Your holiday contract is issued on the understanding that the company operates as one such public space and therefore cannot be immune to the potential of Norovirus and/or similar bugs circulating amongst the general population. Whilst we will do all we practicably can to reduce such possibilities we cannot be considered negligent or accept liability for damages howsoever caused, including illness, loss of enjoyment or resulting costs, as a consequence of such public health risks that are introduced to Potters Resort. If you are affected by such a condition you are required to report the fact immediately in order for us to inform staff dealing with you and your accommodation. You, and anyone you have been in close contact with, at the sole discretion of management, may be confined to your room(s) and requested to leave the Resort at the earliest opportunity. If we suspect you are a risk or potentially contagious to other guests and staff at Potters Resort we will confine you and terminate your stay immediately. All monies paid from that point will be refunded only given that you report the condition immediately and exercise full compliance with management requests to help us all protect and limit the spread of infections on Resort.

COMMENTS: We sincerely hope you will not encounter any problems during your holiday. In the unlikely event that you do, you must notify us immediately. Most problems are capable of being remedied on the spot and we will do our best to ensure they are. Should however, you remain unhappy, you must put any unresolved complaint in writing to us within 28 days of the end of the holiday addressed to the Guest Services Manager. We will then investigate the matter so that an amicable resolution can be reached if at all possible. We regret we cannot accept liability for any claim not notified to us in accordance with these Booking Terms and Conditions. ROOM OCCUPATIONS: To ensure that accommodation is properly cleaned, keys cannot be guaranteed before 2pm on the day of arrival (or 5pm on Sundays). Accommodation must be vacated by 10am on every departure day or midday on Sundays. Upon departure, the guest agrees to hand over the room in a clean and tidy condition and to make good or pay for any furniture, fixtures and equipment that may be broken, lost or damaged during their occupation.

The accommodation is only to be used by persons detailed on the Reservation Confirmation. Towels are provided, but guests are recommended to bring their own swimming towels.

No compensation is payable in respect of minor changes. We further regret we cannot be responsible for any costs and expenses you may incur as a result of any change.

VISITORS AND NON-RESIDENTS: Visitors and Non-Residents are not permitted without prior arrangement with Management. Sporting and all Club facilities are not available for non-members. Where permission is given, any visiting non-member must leave the premises by 7.30pm. Use of certain club facilities by local members is limited by management approval and numbers.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY: Very rarely we may find it necessary to cancel holidays and we must reserve the right to do so. However, we will only cancel holidays if: A) You fail to make payment in full and on time, B) if we are forced to do so as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care or C) it is possible we may cancel a particular holiday if we have sold insufficient capacity of available accommodation to enable that holiday to be operated within an acceptable standard of both atmosphere and viability. In the event of cancellation (other than due to your default in payment) we would then return to you all money you have paid us, or will offer you an alternative holiday of comparable standard. Whichever you choose, we will pay compensation as shown above. No liability for any other costs which may arise from such cancellations can be accepted by us. D) we are continually refurbishing and updating the Resort with new facilities and accommodation, sometimes it is unavoidable that these plans will affect holidays booked in advance and accepted in good faith at the time of booking, where this causes a change to your holiday we will endeavour to inform you with as much notice as possible and offer you alternative accommodation or alternative dates or if necessary we may be forced to cancel your holiday with us, in this unlikely event a full refund of all monies paid will be made to the party leader. Potters Leisure Ltd cannot be held liable for any 3rd party and/or any other expenses associated with any cancellations howsoever caused.

CAR PARKING: All vehicles are parked completely at the owners’ risk – no liability will be accepted by the company for any damage however caused. Car parking is complimentary. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Potters Leisure Limited has a responsibility for the welfare of all its guests and therefore reserves the right to terminate the holiday of any guest whose unreasonable conduct may impair the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, e.g. excessive noise. Persons under 18 are not allowed to purchase alcohol from any bar and only drinks purchased in the bars are allowed to be consumed in the bars and public areas; infringement of this may also lead to expulsion. Any lost holiday time due to expulsion resulting in unreasonable behaviour will not be refunded and is not covered under Potters Cancellation Protection. We want to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family and may ask for your identification on arrival. We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit Potters Resort who is a convicted child sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice. We want to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family and may ask for your identification on arrival. We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit Potters Resort

Potters Leisure Limited cannot accept responsibility for any valuables unless deposited at Reception and an official receipt obtained. This includes loss or damage to any valuable left in accommodation, on the premises or in any motorised transport. Swimming and all recreational activities are undertaken at guests own risk. We regret we are unable to offer any child care facilities. Whilst we are happy to provide children’s activities, including children’s clubs suitable for a range of ages on certain breaks suitable for families, they are not child care facilities. Please note that at all times the safety of children is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. The parent or guardian will be held accountable for the actions of any minor(s) in their control.

CANCELLATION PROTECTION CANCELLATION PROTECTION: Potters Leisure Limited’s Cancellation Protection Premium is £7.50 per adult aged 16 and over. Children are free of charge when accompanied by a protected adult. The premium is due at the time cover is confirmed however this is not collected until the balance is paid. It is your responsibility to request cover and the premium due will be shown separately on your holiday confirmation. COVER PROVIDED: In the event of cancellation of your holiday for any of the following reasons, i.e. sickness, compulsory quarantine, injury, death or redundancy (on or before the start of your break), all monies except the Deposit and Cancellation Protection premium will be refunded. In all cases where a claim arises, supporting medical/redundancy notice must be given and all cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Should guests require additional cover in respect of Personal Luggage, Money, Accident, Travel etc. they must make their own arrangements. CANCELLATION AFTER START OF HOLIDAY: Where a guest detailed on your Reservation has to cancel their holiday after commencement due to hospitalisation and the Cancellation Protection has been paid, a refund may be made to that guest for the proportion of the holiday that is lost. The amount refunded will be at the discretion of Potters Leisure Ltd. No claim can arise from self-inflicted curtailment such as excessive alcohol consumption.

Accommodation, from Bungalows stretching down to the sea through to Hotel rooms surrounding the central facilities. Live Entertainment, every evening and late on into the night with our acclaimed shows as well as visiting star names, touring acts and comedians. Full Board, which means four meals a day for each full day of your break, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a midnight dish of the day. Sports and Activities, with an extensive range of sports and daytime activities to enjoy. Leisure and Fitness, with swimming pools, sauna, steam room, cardiovascular and weights gyms, and much more.

Entertainment is the watchword for our funfilled weekends and one night breaks with plenty of opportunity for dancing, watching amazing shows and relaxing with friends.

Scheduled to coincide with the main school and bank holidays, these midweek and weekend breaks are the perfect answer to your family’s next short break.

These are predominantly four night midweek breaks, outside of the main school holidays. They are designed with more mature adults in mind and although we don’t ‘ban’ children as some of our competitors do, we do discourage families from booking, as kids’ activities and clubs are not available.

Although a majority of our one, two and three-night weekend breaks are designed with adults in mind, you are welcome to bring children, but please be aware that activities and entertainment may not be suitable for some children and our kids’ clubs and activities designed for younger guests will not be available. For more information on what you can look forward to on a Weekend with Friends, please see pages 24-25.

As well as all our standard activities and facilities, we add kids’ clubs and special events, facilities and activities to cater for every age group. Our aim is to make sure that everyone, from grandparents to toddlers, has the perfect break away. For more information on just how much we include in our Family Breaks, please see pages 26-27.

What is available is a plethora of facilities, including our free to enter bowls tournaments and a full programme of inclusive activities to suit every taste. Evening entertainment features Potters Theatre Company, plus a visiting act on one night of your break, apart from on our Themed breaks such as Big Band, Stars of Dance, Irish and Country music breaks, which offer the very best entertainment to suit the theme of the break. Our accommodation is suitable for a wide range of party sizes, whether you're a couple looking for a romantic weekend away, or a family wanting interconnecting rooms. With so much to do and experience at Potters you may choose not to spend too much time in your room. But when you do, there’s nothing better than getting a good night’s sleep on a gloriously comfy, royal-appointed Sleepeezee bed. We know that the less time you spend worrying about your accommodation, the more time you have to enjoy your short break. All break prices include Bungalow accommodation as standard, with per person per night supplements to upgrade to Bungalow Plus and Hotel rooms. Our housekeeping team regularly service your accommodation to the highest standard. All our rooms offer an en-suite bathroom, central heating, TV with Freeview channels, tea and coffee making facilities, guest soap, bathroom towels and free WiFi.

Loved A Night at the Movies? Get ready for the sequel as Potters Theatre Company take you back to the movies this Summer in A Night at The Movies: Take 2.

he show pays tribute to some of the biggest movies to have graced the silver screen, including Hollywood musicals Singin’ in the Rain, 42nd Street and My Fair Lady, and family favourites, such as The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Singers and dancers will be showcasing their moves, vocal ranges and colourful costumes on popular songs from Saturday Night Fever, The Bodyguard and Dreamgirls. Plus light-hearted comedy mayhem from Mark Brewer and the comedy team as they turn gangster in Bugsy Malone. Two of 2017’s biggest movies, La La Land and Beauty and the Beast, will also get a nod in this feel-good show bringing your favourite movies to life.

Among the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music, 10cc are one of the very few acts to have achieved commercial, critical and creative success in equal measure.

10cc were one of the most popular and well known bands of the '70s with their biggest hit I'm Not in Love reaching number one in the UK – this indeed was a true decade of success – including hits such as: The Things We Do For Love, Art For Art's Sake, Life Is A Minestrone, Good Morning Judge, I'm Mandy Fly Me, Rubber Bullets and The Wall Street Shuffle.

From their breakthrough hit Donna in 1972 to their final No 1 – Dreadlock Holiday – in 1978, via such landmark releases as I’m Not In Love, their worldwide smash in 1975, 10cc stood for the kind of heightened pop sensibility achieved only by the very greatest music practitioners, a remarkable career that has seen the band sell in excess of 30 million albums around the world.

Britain’s number one vocal harmony group, The Overtones, have sold over a million records and had five Top 5 albums.

riginally working as decorators, the five-piece were first discovered by a record company talent scout as they worked in a shop near Oxford Street. They were singing Billy Joel’s doo-wop classic The Longest Time in their tea-break, and the rest is history.

Since breaking through in 2010 with their debut Good Ol’ Fashioned Love album, which sold over 500,000 copies, the quintet has established their reputation as an act with the unique ability to deliver uplifting music infused with exquisite vocal harmonies, and reboot classic sounds. Their first album showcased a series of

both original pop songs and classic 50s and 60s covers, and their first single Gambling Man was written by the boys themselves. They have also received acclaim with subsequent albums Higher, Saturday Night at the Movies and Sweet Soul Music. Take aim and experience something new with Sports Coaching in a range of exciting sports including football, golf, badminton, short tennis, tennis, bowls, table tennis, squash and racketball. Professional instructors, like ex-Leeds and England football star Paul Reaney and 700-medal winning table tennis ace Russell King, will hone skills and provide coaching and tips to budding youngsters. Kids will try new sports, participate in fun and friendly games and perfect their technique. There are sessions exclusively for children, as well as the opportunity for families to join-in together. During the Summer, Football Coaching with Paul Reaney is available on all family weekend and midweek breaks. bowls, bands dance bowls breaks Many midweek breaks feature free-to-enter Bowls Tournaments, with indoor, short mat and carpet options, as well as a full programme of sports, leisure activities and variety entertainment. If youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re an avid bowler or new to the sport, join up to 500 players during the main Indoor Bowling Season (September to May) in a free-to-enter Bowls Tournament. The breaks are organised and run by Potters Bowls Ambassador and 2010 World Indoor Bowls Champion, Greg Harlow. Our facilities are world class and include 14 indoor and 7 outdoor rinks, electronic scoring with flat screens and blue rinks. All free-to-enter indoor tournaments offer guests a guaranteed four games, which are normally 12 ends and are suitable for all levels and abilities. In addition to league games, the top 16 teams (occasionally the top 8) will advance to a knock-out phase with successful teams invited to compete in our annual Champion of Champions competition. Please note that there is no dress code but many bowlers prefer to play in traditional whites or greys. casual bowling and roll-ups will be restricted during bowling tournaments and short mats are also available for those wishing to play.

In addition, we offer Carpet Bowls tournaments on select breaks, and, due to our close links with bowls federations and associations, including EIBA, Bowls England, ECBA, EBF and EBA, we hold specific competitions aligned to these bodies during the year.

Cancellation Protection Cover ONLY £7.50 per adult

Due to the incredible demands of our entertainment programme we reserve the same rights as all professional theatres in that we cannot guarantee that any individual principal in the Potters Theatre Company, or featured named entertainers, including Mark Brewer, will be able to appear in every show or on every Break. We can, however, guarantee a thoroughly professional production every time the curtain goes up in the Atlas Theatre. All featured artistes are contracted in good faith, but in circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to substitute another act/artiste without prior notice or refund – for full details see our Booking Terms and Conditions. For certain star acts such as David Essex, who attract a strong following, there will be a restriction on the amount of seats available in the Atlas Theatre, as many guests choose to stand.

We understand that sometimes you have to cancel your Break due to unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend that Guests take out our Cancellation Protection Cover (£7.50 per adult, free for accompanied children). Cancellation protection must be taken out at the time of booking and cannot be added retrospectively. Those Guests with cover can claim a refund excluding their Deposit and Cancellation Premium providing the reason for cancellation is covered – see Booking Terms and Conditions for full details.

No Recording or Broadcasting

Charges are applied for cancellations of complete bookings, reduction in duration, reduction in number of Guests or a change from adult to child – name changes are allowed with a £6 amendment fee per name change to cover our administration costs – see Booking Terms and Conditions for full details

Guests who have taken our Cancellation Protection will not be covered for any losses or refunds as a result of unforeseen cancellation for any reason. We can issue cancellation confirmations for these Guests to make a claim against other Travel Insurance that they may have.

In order to respect the privacy and comfort of all our team and guests on Resort, and to protect the copyright of all performers, the use of equipment to record or transmit audio and/or visual content inside Potters performance venues is strictly forbidden. Potters reserves the right, without recourse or refund, to eject any person(s) who are suspected of making and or broadcasting recordings from Potters Resort without express prior permission from management.

Special Requests All Special Requests will be noted on your booking on the understanding that we cannot guarantee these. If there is a request that you need confirming, say for a medical reason, please discuss it with us prior to making your reservation. These will then be detailed on your holiday confirmation, if they are not please telephone our Reservations Team before you arrive.

Little extras – free or to hire We have a number of Cots and High Chairs available without a supplement if pre-booked. Not all our rooms are suitable for our modern net-sided travel cots, so please ask when making your original reservation. All of our rooms (excluding standard Bungalows) provide a cooler. However, they may be unsuitable for particular medicines. If refrigeration is required please notify us at time of booking. Coolers can be hired for those staying in our standard Bungalows for £2.50 per day. Hairdryers are provided in all hotel and Bungalow Plus rooms. For other accommodation they can be hired free of charge with a refundable deposit of £10 from Reception. We have wheelchairs for hire at £3 per day with a refundable £20 deposit.

Accommodation Bungalows close to the main Resort Building are in great demand so if this is a requirement due to medical conditions please discuss this with our Reservations Team at time of booking to check availability. Our Single Bungalows are located in the centre of the Bungalow Complex. Accommodation is serviced daily (except Bungalows on Sundays).

What’s included in your Potters Break

If you require a special diet please inform us at the time of making your reservation. If your requirements need extra special preparation we will arrange for one of our chefs to discuss these with you. Unless stated otherwise all Breaks commence with evening meal on the day of arrival and finish after breakfast on the day of departure, with the exception of Sunday departures of weekend breaks when, although accommodation must be vacated by midday, lunch is included (this excludes one night breaks which end on a Sunday, where lunch is not included). Arrival dinner is normally available up to 7.45pm and we regret we are unable to serve any meals after this time.

Unlike others, Potters aims to include just about everything in the one price of your short break. This includes your accommodation, full board (from dinner on night of arrival through to breakfast on day of departure unless specified), entertainment, sports and leisure. Of course, coin operated machines (including lockers, ten pin, arcade and squash court lights), bingo, retail outlets, drinks and snacks outside of included meals are chargeable. This list is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to amend and add additional optional activities and facilities for your enjoyment, which may be chargeable.

‘Drinks Inclusive’ and ‘Selected Wines served with Dinner’ Breaks

Arrival and Departure Days

The term ‘Drinks Inclusive’ refers to inclusive drinks from the bars only and includes all standard draught beers, selected bottled beers, selected wines and single spirits with mixers from 6pm until close of bars on each night of your stay, unless stated otherwise. Non-standard drinks such as Champagne, Cocktails, some shots and liqueurs are available to purchase from the bars at half the normal bar tariff during qualifying drinks inclusive times.

Accommodation keys are normally available from 2pm on your day of arrival except on Sundays when accommodation will not normally be available before 5pm and in any event not earlier than 4pm. We cannot release accommodation before this time as we need to ensure that all rooms are properly cleaned and prepared for your arrival. However, a small amount of accommodation on each break is available for early check-in for a supplement of only £10 per room (normally 12 midday or 3pm on Sundays).

At all other times drinks are chargeable at the standard bar tariff. Items (including drinks) sold in Retail shops, salon, Palms etc. are not included. ‘Drinks inclusive’ does not cover any non-drink items e.g. snacks, sweets, or any non-bar retail outlets. Guests are required to wear a supplied wrist band in order to qualify for inclusive drinks and assist us in identifying you as a resident guest over the age of 18.

On your departure day all accommodation must be vacated by 10am (12 midday on Sundays). You can book a two course arrival or departure lunch in our main restaurants for just £8.95 per adult and £5.95 for children. On certain Sundays when this is not available we offer ‘The Sunday Carvery’ in our Zest Restaurant with a main course offering for £9.95 per adult and £4.95 for children. Alternatively, our Terrace Bar offers a selection of light snacks.

Children (under 18’s), on Drinks Inclusive Breaks, will be given a different coloured wristband which will make them eligible for free soft drinks only during the qualifying drinks inclusive period. All adults on site are reminded to abide by the law by ensuring that children do not consume alcoholic drinks and any person found offering alcoholic drinks to persons under the age of 18 will be asked to leave the Resort immediately.

Smoking In accordance with government legislation smoking is not permitted in any enclosed public space on the resort. For the comfort and benefit of our guests who wish to smoke external covered areas are available. Electronic cigarettes and equivalents are not permitted in enclosed public spaces on Resort.

On breaks where ‘selected wines are served with dinner,’ pre-selected wines will be served from the start of service until 8pm. All inclusive wine with dinner must be consumed within the restaurant.

Special Assistance

Bowls Tournaments

It is important for guests requiring special assistance to discuss your requirements with our experienced team prior to confirming your booking, in order to avoid any misunderstandings that could lead to disappointment. We will be able to advise you on the suitability of our Resort, accommodation and facilities, plus discuss any reasonable request for equipment.

During breaks which feature free-to-enter bowls tournaments, casual bowling and roll-ups will be restricted. In addition, on Midweeks surrounding sporting or concert events, casual bowling and roll-ups are unlikely to be available.

Facebook and Resident Photographer Pictures and Videos

Please take the time to consider what information would be useful to us in planning for your stay such as: do you have the ability to walk, but cannot negotiate stairs; if you use a wheelchair, do you require full access and is the wheelchair a standard size; do we need to consider any special storage requirements for equipment or medication; if you are bowling can you manage the step on the rinks; if you have visual or hearing impairments, or dietary requirements such as gluten free or vegan. With over 600 Guests checking-in around the same time our Reception is busy so please do not wait until your arrival to share any relevant information with us.

Pictures and videos are taken on Resort for publication on our Facebook page and other social media channels. If you would rather not appear in these photographs and/or videos then please make this known to the photographer at the time. In addition, our resident photographers take pictures for retail sale on Resort and via our internet portal. All photographs remain the property of Potters. If you would rather not have your images posted in public albums then please make this known to the photographer at the time.

Any special arrangements must be agreed at the time of booking and confirmed by you using the designated “Special Requirements” Request Form prior to your arrival and this will be noted on your confirmation. Potters do not accept any liability for any costs incurred for special arrangements not agreed by us prior to booking confirmation and such costs may be forwarded onto you.

Potters Resort Card To enable you the convenience of charging purchases such as drinks to your room during your stay, we will need to pre-authorise a credit/debit card. This only guarantees that you have the available funds to pay the balance of your final bill on departure. By charging to your room, you accept the Potters Resort standard terms and conditions, and agree to pay all outstanding charges in full on check-out from the Resort. When the outstanding charges are less than the authorisation taken on check-in, any amount not utilised will be released, however, we cannot control how long it will take for your bank to effect such release, but as a guide this may take up to three working days for a credit card account, and up to 10 working days for a standard debit card account.

Our Resort does not have a resident doctor or nurse and is not equipped to provide special medical attention. If any member of your party requires such attention please make sure you have adequate arrangements in place prior to making your reservation. Your safety is our concern, therefore if you are unable to hear a fire alarm, use a wheelchair or cannot descend stairs in the event of an emergency evacuation, please discuss with our Reservations Team so that special arrangements can be put in place.

Telephone calls We may need to contact you prior to arrival and in such circumstances we will use the telephone number you confirm with us at time of booking, so please make sure you give us the right details and update us on any changes. Calls are charged at national rate and in many cases count towards inclusive minutes on landline and mobile contracts. Because we want to make sure we’re doing a good job, we may monitor or record our calls. We hope you don’t mind.

Sport and Activities Due to reasons such as refurbishment, breakdown, scheduling, Health and Safety etc., we reserve the right to close certain sports and activities without prior notice or refund. Some activities are not available on every break. If you feel a particular facility or sport is a primary reason for selecting your Potters Break, you are requested to confirm this in writing prior to arrival - see Booking Terms and Conditions.
