Thursday May 11th - 7.00pm concert with Bosmere Junior school st faith's church, havant once again we are singing in a joyful concert with the children of the Bosmere Junior school choir worth coming for the excellence of the Junior school choir, smvc are just an "added feature" to this lovely, happy and inspiring concert. free concert with a retiring collection.

Friday 14th July - 7.30pm plus kidderminstervalentines st george's church, portsea (now the harbour church), po1 3at the kidderminstervalentines are a lady's choir and are "on tour", stopping over in portsmouth and they will be joing the solent malevoice choir for a joint concert in aid of the rnli. expect a fun evening of items from both choirs, individually, plus a few joint items. tickets will be available from the smvc website:www.solentmalevoicechoir.org

Monday 22nd May - ‘like father like son – the story of a ww2 spitfire ace and the son who followed in his footsteps’ presented by air marshal graeme ‘Black’ robertson cBe, Ba, fraes, frsa, raf (ret’d) an illustrious and famous former raf pilot, who flew front line fast jets.

‘Black’s father was a decorated spitfire ace, whose brief wartime career was ended by injury, and ‘Black’ himself was a cold war flier who retired in 1998.

Sunday 11th June - an evening concert themed around the coronation; a choir and a Brass ensemble of skilled musicians together with organist, specially brought together for this concert of music reflecting on coronations past.there is opportunity for audience participation in some of the singing.a right royal night out!

Monday 12th June, - a free organ recital by liz le grove a highly accomplished organist, liz is director of academic studies at the royal marines school of music.then in the evening, another group of highly accomplished musicians has been specially put together under the name of the waterlooville music festival chamber ensemble, and will be performing a selection of pieces under the title “all creatures great and small”.a magical evening of beautifully performed well known classics.

Tuesday 13th June - a free lunchtime concert performed by springwood school. in the evening there is a fantastic double bill - the waterlooville group of the uk’s most exciting contemporary choirwaterlooville rock choir - joined by winchester flute choir
Wednesday 14th June - a free lunchtime concert by the cowplain ukulele players, and in the evening, the Band of the hampshire constabulary - probably hampshire’s leading concert wind band.
Thursday 15th June - a free lunchtime concert featuring the students of oaklands catholic school.then in the evening a folk and ale night! - with a revival of ramskyte, well known to portsmouth folk music followers.the evening also features olly alsford.all evening concerts tickets just £6.

Friday 16th June - two free concerts. for the lunch break, be entertained by the students of horndean technology college then in the afternoon the festival has a real treat - the hugely talented robbie rich, playing saxophone, flute, clarinet, recordersometimes even simultaneously with cream teas with homemade scones available to purchase the festival tribute night. features rocket max - this internationally renowned elton John impersonator faithfully reproduces the look, sound, and energy of a real elton John concert. with his full live band.tickets just £10. passport tickets are available providing entry to all events and are great value for all evening concerts there is a licensed bar, with real ales provided by local Bowmans Brewery Tickets can be purchased by credit card at the festival website (no booking fees).
