A recent check-in survey with our staff in May 2022 showed that engagement amongst staff has not varied greatly over the last 6 months, with a score of 82%.

Council continues to monitor its governance through a range of initiatives and actions; such as policy development, legislative compliance, internal audit program, workplace practices and providing opportunities for improvements. The annual Governance Health Check was completed in June 2022, with a score of 98.24% achieved. This result exceeds the target of >95%. The Governance Health Check is a tool to measure our governance and performance. It covers 4 areas - ethics, risk management, information management and reporting. The graph below demonstrates our progress in achieving our Governance Health Check scores from 2015 to 2022.
