im Lovitt, a lifetime native of New Jersey and a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, began working in the floral business in a small shop in Edison, NJ. Kim’s introduction into the wedding business began after decorating her parents 25th anniversary party, the owners of the Richfield Regency in Verona, NJ were so impressed with what they saw, that they hired Kim to run the florist and party department of their new location in Old Bridge, NJ; the Grand Marquis. There Kim developed the party business extending to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and corporate events and built a staff of 8 full time florists and artists, doing thousands of successful parties over the next 20 years.

When the ownership of the Grand Marquis changed hands in 2006, Kim was given the opportunity to establish her own business, Marquis Florals, keeping the Grand Marquis as a top client. Since then, Kim and her staff with now twenty full and part time employees have won the prestigious Best of Wedding

such a love for what she does. During one of her many parties in the Monmouth area, a very successful business woman pulled her on the side and explained that years before when the woman and her husband-to-be met with Kim to plan their upcoming wedding, they had a very small budget to work with. The young woman desperately wanted the tall flower arrangements that just were not in her budget. She would have to settle on the smaller arrangement which Kim promised would be very nice. On the day of the wedding, when the new bride entered the room, there were the tall arrangements she wanted. Kim had reached out to her suppliers and found a way to make this young girl’s dream come true. “I will never forget what you did for me.” she told Kim. “And I have tried to pass that favor forward to my own customers over the years. And to tell you the truth, it has helped me to reach the success I have enjoyed today.” Florists in New Jersey from the Knot and Wedding wire every single year. Marquis Florals has extended their work into New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland and Kim has developed personal relationships with suppliers in such places as Hawaii and Holland where she has often been invited. Kim and her staff are constantly studying and learning about the newest trends in the floral and décor business and also attending trade shows across the country. Her work has been seen in magazines and on television, including a couple of reality programs. But the main focus of the business has always been about enthusiasm. Kim enjoys every party she does as if it’s her own, and feels that if you can’t achieve that feeling about your clients and their celebrations, you don’t belong in the business. Her favorite benchmark is that she has now decorated parties for the grandparents, parents and the children of the same families.
While Marquis Florals strives to keep a personal and family style atmosphere, they have become the recommended florist for many of the area’s top catering facilities. Kim has also created a type of one-stop-shop for all party needs by connecting with other suppliers who feel as Kim does about the industry and have proven themselves reliable over the past many years. She knows the best places for food, photographers, wedding and party dresses and even furniture for themed events. She has been contracted many times as a wedding and party planner to see the event through from beginning to end. From the young woman who planned her own parent’s party thirty years ago to the young grandmother who has now completed thousands of successful events, Kim knows the business that she loves.

iPartyPix different? iParty Pix was created with the vision to offer much more than a traditional photo booth. We saw that there was a tremendous surge in the popularity of the photo booth, but we believed the industry was missing one important aspect when it came to delivering a quality service and product to an event. Our custom designed photo booth system is an “all in one” state of the art photo entertainment system with a 42” touch screen monitor that allows your guest to interact with the machine. Your guest will take a picture and then they could use our software to add virtual props (hats, mustaches, glasses, etc.) to their pictures, and even write a message right on the photo. We have hundreds of virtual props on the system, and these could be customized for each event. The traditional physical props will also be available as well. After they are happy with the photo, they could share it with friends & family via their Facebook, Twitter, Email and Text Messaging. Your guests
will also be given a 4x6 photo (not those strips) that will be printed within seconds from a commercial sub-dye printer.
