REMINISCENCE Homage to POPCOM RPO III Regional Directors from 2012 to 2013
In two years, Commission on Population Region III (RPO III) saw the leadership of three Regional Directors. With a style of governance unique from one another, each of these Directors had but one goal: to make a positive difference in the field of population management. Let us look back at our RPO III directors from then until now.
Leading RPO III from October 2013 to present, Dir. Eleanor M. Cura was the previous OIC-Regional Director for Commission on Population-National Capital Region. She has been part of the Philippine Population Management Program since 1975.
Atty. Dexter V. Padilla served as the OIC – RD from March to October 2013, while simultaneously functioning as the Legal Officer IV, OIC-Administrative Officer, and Chairperson of the Bids and Awards Committee and Personnel Selection Board of POPCOM Central Office.
Being the Director from January 2012 to March 2013 before her retirement, Dir. Ma. Aurora Quiray was also requested previously to head the POPCOM Offices in Region V and Cordillera Administrative Region. Her stay in POPCOM was decorated with numerous trainings, fellowships and awards from local and international bodies.
