CAMBRIDGE EXAMS IN AITANA On Saturday May 18 in the morning the students who came to Aitana school were able to take either the KET or the PET examinations from Cambridge. Since last year, thanks to the agreement between Fomento and Cambridge, the students of 2nd ESO could do them for free. For the rest of the students the price of the other exams has also improved considerably. This is an incentive to motivate our students to get an official English qualification.

Cambridge examiners, and they have been able to prepare us well for these exams. Mr MIchael has been focusing on the speaking component while Mr Mark, Mr Ian,Mr Anthony and Don Ricardo for the other parts of the test: listening, reading and writing

2013 CERTIFICATE GIVING ENTREGA DE DIPLOMAS DE NIVEL BÁSICO

The students of Secondary and Bachillerato did the Official Cambridge Exams last year and on 18th April they received their Certificates with a special celebration. The students of Bachillerato started the day with a fantastic breakfast with churros and chocolate to get energy and delight their appetite. Then they went to the audiovisual classroom where D. Juan Mora, our head master, was waiting to tell them a few words about how important English is for the future and to get a good job. Once the short speech finished the certificate giving began and Mr Ian decided, like all years to give the certificates starting with the lowest level and ending with the highest level. When

the last certificate had been given out the lucky students were able to see an entertaining film: Hotel Transylvania. Obviously it was in English which is a testament to the level of English of our students. When the Bachillerato students finished it was time for the Secondary students and unfortunately at that time it was too late to have breakfast, so they had a little brunch with crisps and soft drinks. Then they did the same as Bachillerato; they had a short speech (1st and 2nd had it with D. Juan Mora and 3rd and 4th with D. Jose Antonio Alcazar, Deputy Head of Secondary) being followed by the certificate giving and ending with a nice film
