I first started “altering” commercial tiles by rubber stamping on them. The porcelain tile works great for this. I loved how it looked, and this, of course, led to painting on the tile as well and experimenting with mica powders. Every extra step of embellishment pays off in the end. Remember, “better ingredients . . .”
