This project is about the city of Saranda located in southern Albania, one of the most important touristic areas of the country. A particularity of the research and project is that the object is mainly extended in the area connecting sea and land. The main conclusion of the research is that instead of the coastal line, the logic of the coastal strip must be considered; meaning, taking into account both directions (land and sea) and an increased impact and interaction between them. the design project begins on land and ends up on the sea. In addition to the findings of research, another important inspiration for the final design project is the fluidity of the sea, and its conflict/relation with the rocky coastal landscape. The entire project is mainly based on these two pillars. A special focus of the project was also the connection of the facility with the land, through an extended bridge with careful design emphases.
