The development of a new product takes several years and involves many hours of testing with different test scenarios. Whether in the laboratory with incessant rain, through the use of cold shocks or constant vibrations, or in practical tests attached to the product manager and SIGMA employees’ bikes or arms. Mass production only begins once all the tests have been passed. The products are all tested at random, packaged by hand, and shipped to customers all around the world. Customer questions can be answered by a highly skilled service team, which can also quickly involve the responsible product manager if necessary thanks to the short lines of communication at SIGMA. Service also means being prepared for almost all the questions in our ‘frequently asked questions’, configuring our devices in as user-friendly a manner as possible, and providing users and retailers with further support by means of videos and the SIGMA YouTube channel.
