แนวคิด

“เรือ(น)” เป็นผลงานประติมากรรมศิลปะเคลื่อนไหวสื่อผสม เชิงนวัตกรรม 3 มิติ ในรูปเรือ ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเรือส�าเภาจีน (Junk) ในอดีต ตัวประติมากรรมที่มีพื้นที่ว่างด้านในที่ผู้เยี่ยมชมสามารถเข้าไปนั่งนอนได้ และมีเครื่องหยอดเหรียญเพื่อฟังการอ่านเรื่องสั้นเกี่ยวกับ การต่อสู้ และความมีมานะอดทนในชีวิตของผู้คนในชุมชนสามย่าน-สวนหลวง ซึ่งอ่านโดยนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนในชุมชนเอง

Concept

“Junk” is an innovative 3D mixed-media kinetic sculpture in the shape of a boat, inspired by the Chinese vessels of the past, with open space inside where people can sit or lie down. The installation is equipped with a coin-operated machine that narrates short stories about the struggles and efforts in the lives of people in the community, read by children in community schools.
