Donor Update Winter 2016

When you look back at our rich history, it’s impossible to not feel a great deal of gratitude and awe at what God has done in and through Point University.

Since the University’s founding in 1937, we have made it our mission to equip the next generation of Christian leaders for Kingdom service. While we still train ministers like we did in the beginning, our vision and reach has expanded to include degree offerings and programs that educate a broader scope of students who are pursuing God’s call on their life, whether that be in the church, on the mission field, in the classroom, in business, or in some other industry. It has been a history-making time for Point in many ways this past year. As you’ll see in the pages to follow, history was made when we launched our first graduate programs with the master of business administration in business transformation and master of transformative ministry degrees in fall 2016. Nearly 2,000 students enrolled for this fall semester, the highest enrollment in the University’s history. The Skyhawks athletics program also made history, with several teams competing at the national level. And thanks to the generosity of friends like you, we’re on track to reach our fundraising goals for the Vision 2020 capital campaign. We are now able to bring even more deserving students to Point through scholarships, while also embarking on major building and other capital projects. As you read through this donor update, my hope is that you will feel as inspired and as hope-filled as I do about the bright future that lies ahead for Point University, as we work together to invest in the next generation of Kingdom leaders through Christian higher education. In Christ,
