Leadership Education & Affinities Development (L.E.A.D.) Consortiums
The Point Community convenes in intimate groups at our LEAD consortiums, each of which focuses on a particular area of study and professional field. Scholars and alumni, often joined by invited high school students, attend alongside board members, mentors and guest speakers for skills-building and professional development workshops. LEADs this past year included Business, Consulting & Finance, held in New York City; Health & Medicine, in San Francisco; and Policy & Law, in Washington, D.C. Point Alum Carl Streed, (pictured above, right) was a Point Scholar from 2011 to 2013 and is now a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
