We use a modular construction system, with most of the work taking place off site, meaning any disruption is kept to the bare minimum. Our architectural trained designers can produce everything from the smallest playroom to a fully functioning holiday home.
No planning permission Unlike traditional extensions, in most cases planning permission is not required. Quick and easy to assemble, our pods can also be craned into place as a complete unit. We can even install all the utilities you need, so your new space is ready to go when you are.
Using timber from managed forests, low VOC paint and energy efficient utilities, our environmentally friendly accommodation is just what you’ve been looking for.

True eco living Carrying out most of the construction in a factory environment means that we maintain a high degree of quality control and are able to minimise any disruption to you. Clad in either premium grade western red cedar or Siberian larch, all our timber is sourced from well managed Canadian forests. With organic sedum roofs, natural rubber floors and using low VOC paint, your pod is the ultimate in true eco living.

Micro Pod Our most compact garden studio measuring 2.5 x 2.0m. Small enough to fit unobtrusively into most gardens but without compromise to the style and quality of Pod Space buildings. Internally the walls are painted white with optional contemporary lacquered White Birch wall panels, matching skirting and engineered timber floors. Scandinavian underfloor heating offers comfort whilst integral desk and shelving options offer best use of space.

Micro Pod Max At 3.2 x 2.5m the Micro Pod Max offers the same benefit of requiring little space in your garden whilst providing the user with a large enough internal area for a desk, shelving and circulation. The solid construction of the Pod makes it a quiet sanctuary in which to work, providing the user with a highly efficient and functional environment. Features such as door and window positions can be customised to best suit the location of the Pod, making the best use of sunlight and views to create a working area which is both calm, practical and productive.

Mini Pod Measuring 4.1 x 3.65m the Mini Pod can be multifunctional for a larger office or additional space for the family. It comes complete with red cedar decking, sliding doors and an external cedar sunshade/privacy screen. As with all our pods options such as extended decking and additional windows can be added.

Glide Pod The 5.45 x 3.65m Glide Pod can comfortably accommodate two adults as an office with additional communal space for meetings. The Glide Pod is also large enough to accommodate a fully functioning WC and kitchen if required, making the whole unit entirely self contained. The sliding louvred screen provides solar shading and privacy when the sliding door is open making it a perfect space for a home gym or summer room.

Eco Pod The Eco Pod is the largest pod in our standard range, measuring 7.2 x 3.5m, and makes an ideal home office or living accommodation. The dual pitched roof can even accommodate a mezzanine level making further use of the internal space. Externally Siberian larch cladding and folding sliding doors provide the contemporary design which may still be installed without planning permission.

Eco Holiday Retreats Pod Space Eco Holiday Retreats are designed using the same high quality of materials as all of our other buildings and without compromise to the eco credentials. We work with the space available to design buildings that will complement and enhance their natural environment whilst providing the family with a comfortable open plan space to promote enjoyment of their time together. As with all our projects we work closely with our clients to gain an understanding of their needs and this will often include rooms to enhance the interactions of family life whilst still providing adequate quiet space to retreat to. Bespoke Classrooms Pod Space include large areas of glazing to allow natural light to fill our open plan spaces whilst ensuring that we have included sufficient storage or secure space within the building. We can also include office rooms, w.c. or kitchen facilities and cloakroom areas within the building to provide a self contained space.
Pod Space work with local authorities and private sector clients to develop classrooms designed to provide the best learning environment possible.
Our classroom buildings are specified with the same level of quality and detail as our other Pods and so they provide a warm, safe and secure place in which learners will thrive and develop. Classroom Pods can even be designed to be relocated making them a flexible solution in many schools and educational establishments where space is limited.
