Q: Why did you want to become a teacher?
A: I wanted to become a teacher to make a difference in students' lives and I wanted to provide students with an education that is accessible. I also wanted to provide a safe and enjoyable space.
Q: What hobbies do you have?
A: I like to go for walks and Hikes, I love to read a good book, and I like to bake.
Q: Do you like baking pastries more or meals?
A: I like baking pastries more
Q: What was your favorite subject when you were in school?
A: English I've just always been really interested in literature. In High school, I had a teacher that I connected with and was just really inspired by. I had her for English and Creative Writing. I think that really blossomed my interest in becoming a teacher.
Q: Did you have any subjects that you struggled with?
A: Math was always a really difficult subject for me, but my brother really liked math so he would help me with my math assignments.
Q: How long have you been teaching?
A: It is my 5th official year, I started long-term subbing before I started teaching and so I've been in the POCS district for a while. There was an elementary school teacher I did a long-term sub position for. She was a third-grade teacher, she had left to have a baby. I then did a long-term position for a 6th-grade teacher who had a baby. After that, she moved to first grade so a 6th-gradePage
