pice Bistro opened the doors in Hollingworth, Tameside over 5 years ago. I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all our customers for the immense support and also making Spice Bistro a very popular and high ranking restaurant, not only just in Tameside, but also in the whole Greater Manchester. The continued support has allowed us to follow our passion to serve mouth watering food with a 5 star service. The food was absolutely top class, a variety of 4 starters, and the mains were a delicious assortment of chicken, beef, and prawn, salsa, lentil sauce, naan and rice, and chocolate gateaux for dessert. We do party bookings and special pre-booked special events at Spice Bistro. Walk-in customers are welcome, however we do recommend to ring up and book, as we often get booked up pretty quickly. Takeaway orders are welcome, but only for collection. You can always ring up and order your takeaway in advance so, it’s ready on your arrival. Naz Z. Ullah (Naz) – Owner Delicious vegan eating in this smart and comfortable restaurant. We shared a veggie balti and biryani, both of which were bursting with flavour and really hit the spot. Afterwards we talked for a good while with the very personable and friendly staff about various Indian dishes. I learned to make sure that future veggie baltis we order have not been cooked with lamb stock and I also received a few helpful tips on how to make a tasty tarka dhal at home. KENSMOON

Initially concerned with forestry, as demand has grown for commercial and domestic tree surgery, we have developed and trained to provide a comprehensive range of services. All aspects of tree work are covered, from hedge trimming to works on the largest of trees by our competent NPTC qualified staff. We have ÂŁ5 million public liability insurance and all our work is carried in accordance with guidelines set out in the British Standards for tree works (BS3998). We follow strict guidelines in relation to birds nesting and roosting or hibernating bats as well as other wildlife and will liaise with the appropriate authorities if the need arises. Our aim is to waste nothing and recycle everything possible. We compos wood chips from smaller branches, and larger boughs are seasoned for two years ready for log burners and open fires. We have all the latest equipment needed to carry out work efficiently and safely in Glossop and around the North West and Derbyshire. The equipment we use includes cranes, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, timber trailers, safety harnesses and chainsaws. You can be sure that we will not harm or damage the surroundings as we work with complete respect for the environment and the trees themselves. We carry out the work efficiently, safely and ethically. HABITAT MANAGEMENT The Countryside and Wildlife Act 1981 states that it is necessary to carry out a risk assessment before carrying out any work. This includes checking for protected species such as bats, birds and mammals. DISMANTLING/FELLING If buildings are being damaged or the tree is in a dangerous condition there maybe no alternative but to dismantle and fell.
