Born in Rupert, West Virginia in 1929, Max Hayslette is a 1951 graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He is represented in over 350 private, corporate and public collections, and is internationally known for his treatment of light in the gold and romantic landscapes of Tuscany. A resident of the Pacific Northwest since 1962, he currently resides in Kingston and applies his lifelong experience to a new Northwest series of original oils. Visitors also benefit from Greater Kingston’s destination photography studio.
