Background: Code correction amendments are intended to rectify minor inadvertent errors that are generally non-substantive in nature and cannot be addressed by the county code reviser through the authority in SCC 1.02.020(2). This is a non-project proposal for correction/minor revision of Titles 2, 6 and 30 of the SCC. General guidelines/criteria that aid in determining if a proposal qualifies as a code correction have been established for previous code correction processes. The criteria are intended as guiding principles and a code correction would typically meet most if not all of the five criteria. The criteria are as follows: Does the proposed correction: 1. Solve an obvious error? 2. Solve a problem or provide consistency? 3. Have a simple need, scope and result which are obvious and do not require team review? 4. Involve minimal code drafting time? 5. Have limited latitude for interpretation of meaning and generally does not result in corrections to multiple code sections? 6. Have minor implementation consequences? #JET 3'2 T 3'1 T DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE EVERETT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 2 Henry M. Jackson High School Portables Description of Proposal: The proposed action is the approval by the City of Mill Creek of a Conditional Use Permit and building permits to add up to six portable classrooms. They are proposed to be placed over several years as needed between 2015 and 2019 on a grass area south and west of the existing school building. The portables would each be 896 square feet in size and match the existing type of portables currently on the site. All of the portables would be placed on existing pervious surface. The additional impervious surface would equal less than one percent of the total site, which is currently 37 percent. The stormwtater system constructed as part of the original school construction anticipated a 61 percent impervious surface on the campus; therefore no new stormwater management features are proposed.
