On June 14, 1997, the Blue Whole Gallery, an artists’ co-op with 26 members, opened its doors. What started as “an experiment in excellence, a fine art gallery of professional artists pursuing creative originality” has continued and thrived to this day. The gallery currently has 30 artists working with oil, acrylic and watercolor, mixed media, assemblage, photography, fused glass, metal sculpture, ceramics, wood sculpture and turning and jewelry. Peninsula College to debut ‘Find Your Voice’ plays Peninsula College’s Find Your Voice Play Festival featuring seven never-before-seen original plays by students and community
