The South Whidbey High School Knowledge Bowl Team placed seventh overall in the state finals at Arlington High School. Students on the team were Sophia LarsenWickman, Zoe Hensler, Dane Heggenes, Jack Lewis, Bo Brown, Logan Skjelstad and Kellen Field. Greg Ballog is the faculty advisor.
A concert will take place this weekend to benefit property owners affected by the massive landslide that occurred March 27 at Ledgewood on Central Whidbey Island. Johnny Bulldog will headline a fundraiser that will go from 2 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 6 at the Greenbank Farm.
