Sean Bean

ean Bean’s characters have been killed off so many times the star cannot keep track. The TV hardman, who has inspired a website called dontkillseanbean.com, is thought to have died on screen more than 20 times throughout his career. In an interview with Radio Times, he said: “I have died quite a few times, to be fair. I’ve seen that reel of clips – it sounds a bit macabre, but I watched that back, and I’d forgotten some of the scenes I’d died in.”

Asked if it gives him pause for thought, he said: “I didn’t take it to heart.” Sean, 56, starred in the first series of Game Of Thrones, but did not make it to the next season after his character was beheaded, and his characters have also struggled to survive in James Bond film GoldenEye and The Lord Of The Rings. Only three actors – John Hurt, Bela Lugosi and Vincent Price – have died on screen more often than Sean, according to nerdist.com.

Lil Wayne’s home raided by police

Lil Wayne

L

il Wayne’s Miami Beach mansion has been raided by police. The 33-year-old rapper’s home was stormed by police recently and seized assets as he had failed to pay a $2 million judgement to an aeroplane leasing company, Signature Group, as well as a further $200,000 of legal fees. The ‘Lollipop’ hitmaker - whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr - is believed to have an art collection worth more than $30 million and several pieces have been removed from the property by police. In helicopter footage of his sprawling estate, authorities can be seen removing items and placing

them into a lorry with several of his sales plaques being taken. According to TMZ, an expert was taken into his home to value items worth seizing to satisfy the debt. Wayne - who served eight months in prison in 2010 for criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana - was not at home during the raid and is believed to be in Los Angeles, where he was seen at a strip club on Monday (02.11.15). And although his security team attempted to prevent police from entering the home, a court order stated Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies should break the locks to get in if necessary.

Adele regrets working with Damon Albarn

T

he ‘Hello’ hitmaker, 27, teamed up with the Blur frontman for a number of tracks on her new album ‘25’, but none of them made the cut, and she wishes she’d never met him. Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, she said: “It ended up being one of those ‘don’t meet your idol’ moments. And the saddest thing was that I was such a big Blur fan, growing up. But it was sad, and I

regret hanging out with him.” Damon, 47, kickstarted the feud between the pair two months ago when he branded her “insecure” and hit out at her for wasting his time, but Adele, who has three-year-old son Angelo, says the only reason she didn’t include their collaborations on her LP is because “none of it was right.” She explained: “None of it suited my record. He said I was insecure,

when I’m the least insecure person I know.” She added: “I was asking his opinion about my fears, about coming back with a child involved -because he has a child - and then he calls me insecure!” Meanwhile, the long-awaited third album, which comes four years after her last, is set for release on November 20.

Spectre sets new British box office record with £40m in first week

S

pectre is the 24th instalment of the Bond franchise and Daniel Craig’s fourth outing in the title role. The latest James Bond film Spectre has set a new British box office record, taking more than £40m in its first week. Globally, the film has grossed more than £52m, before its launch in the US on Friday. The film received a generally positive critical response, including a five-star review from the Guardian, and reports suggested it was expected to make its mark in US cinemas. Its British opening put it ahead of the previous record holder Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. But it has a long way to go to match the takings of the year’s biggest film so far, Jurassic World, which has grossed more than £1bn worldwide. The film’s £200m budget means that it is some way off turning a profit, with one report suggesting

the bill for cars written off during filming alone was £24m. Daniel Craig in the trailer for the latest James Bond film Spectre “We set the record for smashing up cars on Spectre,” Gary Powell, the film’s chief stunt coordinator, told the Mail on Sunday. “In Rome, we wrecked millions of pounds’ worth. They were going into the Vatican at top speeds of 110mph. We shot one entire night for four seconds of film.” The Sam Mendes-directed Spectre is the 24th instalment of the Bond franchise and Daniel Craig’s fourth outing in the title role. He has given mixed signals over whether he intends to continue as Bond, leading to speculation over who might replace him if he decides to stand down. In early October, he said he would rather “slash his wrists” than reprise the role. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done.

Daniel Craig All I want to do is move on,” he said when asked in an open interview with Time Out magazine if he was considering another outing as Bond. But in an interview with the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine just days earlier, he was more equivocal. “It’s getting harder. But such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able. I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions,” he said.

Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose named as a style leader by Vogue

J

ohnny Depp’s daughter, LilyRose Depp, has been named by British Vogue as one of Hollywood’s new crop of style leaders. The glossy fashion magazine, often referred to as the “fashion bible”, has announced the names on its Who’s Got Style Now list. The list, featured in the December issue, “debates the nature

of great style and profiles the women who possess it”. Among the nine categories listed are: The Art Crowd (fashion as fine art); Enduring Dynasties (what’s in a name? An impeccable wardrobe); Fashion Moguls (designers who practice what they preach); The Individualists (style trailblazers who refuse to follow trends); London Leaders (the capital’s foremost style trio); Street-

Style Pioneers (women who capture the lens of the snappers time and again); and Stylist Sisters (it runs in the family). Johnny’s daughter, 16, features on the Young Starlet’s List, which details Hollywood’s up-andcoming style leaders. A blurb about Lily-Rose in the magazine reads: “We doubt if there is a fashion designer who isn’t crushing on the baby-faced Depp.
