BABB, Marjorie, D Feb 29, 1928 - Jan 17, 2013 Marjorie Doreen Babb (Cox). Marjorie was born in Vancouver, BC; though she spent most of her life in North Vancouver. Marjorie will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart, and loving ways. Her passions were her own children, her career of teaching high school students how to cook and sew, doing crafts and growing vegetables. Deeply loved and greatly missed by her children; Carol, Ken & David Babb, her brother; Robert Cox and wife, Susan. Marj touched the hearts of many. A memorial will be held at a later date at the Hollyburn Funeral Home, W. Van. (Time and date will be announced in this paper)

With sadness in our hearts, but admiration for her strength we announce the passing of our wonderful mother on January 18th at Lion’s Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. She was born in Toronto to David & Mary Ross on January 2nd, 1932. To her friends she put others first, always ready to lend a helping hand. She really enjoyed socializing with her wonderful friends at Norgate House and also the community and faith she felt at West Vancouver United Church. Her kindness also extended to her love of dogs, enjoying the companionship they provided over the years. We would like to thank Dr. Jenny Shaw and nurse Kuljeet for the kindness and excellent care they provided Mom in her final days. To celebrate Mom’s life we will hold a memorial on Thursday, January 24th at West Vancouver United Church at 2:00pm tea service to follow. SEYDLER - Anna Aug. 31, 1910 - Jan. 19, 2013

A gracious lady, much loved, left us with memories of many happy times together. Born in Germany, the middle of three children. She went through two WW’s. In 1962 she immigrated to Canada with her husband Paul. Here she made lasting friendships with neighbours and through St. Mark’s Church, the German Society and the Silver Harbour. She played a mean game of Rummy and Scrabble. She loved her family and was a faithful friend. Her cookies were well appreciated, and she was known to everyone as Mutti. Predeceased by husband Paul and daughter Erika. Survived by daughters Anette and husband Don, and Sybille. Grandchildren Michael (Leslie), Simone, Sonia (Brian), Marc and Jon. Great grandchildren Megan, Liam, Genevieve, Sabine, Zachary and Asia. Thank you for the excellent care Anna got through Home Support, LGH and the Kiwanis Care Centre. Interment Friday, January 25 at 1pm with reception to follow, First Memorial, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. Memorial, Saturday, January 26, 11am at St. Mark’s Church, 1573 East 18th Avenue, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Silver Harbour Centre would be appreciated, 144 East 22nd Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 4L5 604-980-2474
