DreamBIG

Children’s Festival

Northern Sound System hosted a number of northern Adelaide schools as part of the DreamBIG Children’s Festival in May. Neon Dreams, a song writing party, gave students the opportunity to learn how to create music through pumping beats and dreamy vocals.

Reconciliation Week.

The City of Playford hosted a number of activities to commemorate Reconciliation Week from families creating reconciliation inspired art to cultural walking tours of Para Wirra Conservation Park and Adelaide City.

Kindness in Action.

Playford 10, a City of Playford pilot school program, has partnered with Safe Pets, Safe Families for its annual Kindness in Action project. Students from Elizabeth Grove and Elizabeth Vale primary schools have been making goodies for dogs which have been taken into temporary care. The students have also had the opportunity to read to Story Dogs (pictured below) and learn more about responsible pet ownership.
