Ward one covers the suburbs of Angle Vale, Buckland Park, Waterloo Corner, Virginia, Eyre, Penfield, Penfield Gardens, MacDonald Park, Andrews Farm and Smithfield Plains; and part of the suburbs of Edinburgh North and Waterloo Corner.

My daughter. She was born with a rare gene and I wanted to participate somewhere that I could be her voice and the voice of others who live with a disability.

Giving back to the place I’ve called home for 39 years, a desire to serve and connect to people and ideas that will positively impact residents’ wellbeing and future of our City.

My inspiration to become an Elected Member was the desire to contribute back to my community by representing everyone in a fair and equitable manner ensuring our City and its residents prosper.

Community pride. Having lived here my whole life I wanted to represent my community, reinvigorate the older suburbs and be a voice for the residents bridging the information gap.

Playford Wellbeing Hub Project Officer, Martina Button, is excited to launch new programming in 2021.
