OSS - Operation Safety System

The OSS is an option which can be added to the spec of the machine to accompany and protect the driver. The driver is informed in real time of manoeuvres that could expose them to a risk and also warns other on site personnel of the operator’s inappropriate behaviour. The information is then sent to the fleet manager, a simple and effective tool to ensure safety on site.

The Electrified Access Range

With three new platform models, Manitou is accelerating the rollout of its “Oxygen” low emissions range. The 200 ATJe roughterrain platform (working height of 20 metres) first launched back in 2020, is now available with four-wheel steer for greater maneuverability and a basket that can now take 250 kg of load, 30 kg more than on the two-wheel drive version.

The 160 ATJe and 180 ATJe have also been added to the Oxygen label. Work easily in the most harsh environments with 160 ATJe aerial work platform, equipped with an all-terrain chassis, reinforced structure and a fully galvanized basket, this powerful model is ideal for working safely on all types of soils. Comfort and safety is at Manitou’s heart, offering the operator exceptional performance of the 160 ATJe articulated boom and access to all the outdoor elements located at height.

Or equip yourself with the 180 ATJe, this model offers the operator all the benefits of the 160 ATJe with extra lift height stretching to 18 metres, allowing the operator to position themselves easily on all uneven surfaces. The compactness and off road capability allows even sandy, muddy or uneven ground to be worked at safely. The two models also see their capacity increased by 50 kg for a basket that can take a total weight of 250 kg.

There is also a second version named the 160 ATJ & e, with capacity significantly increased to 400 kg. A range extender solution is also presented in the form of a removable generator common to all the machines, allowing for a week of autonomy.

Lighting Pack

During night activities, the lighting pack has been designed to keep the operator and the machine safe by preventing collisions. Fitted with an 8 metre long lighting device and light sensor, this innovation ensures the utmost safety for platform loading and unloading operations with a number of lights positioned on the platform to see and be seen.

Reducing Your Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO)

The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is reduced with an almost 50% decrease in maintenance costs compared to the internal combustion version.

With multiple advantages, these machines have a carefully designed autonomy, thanks to their 80% recyclable lead battery. Their low voltage allows technical interventions without special certifications. They are light and can be easily transported. The zero-emission mode makes them suitable for all types of work sites, indoors and outdoors, and in urban areas at night.

Versatility and Performance

Manitou’s electric range performs well on all terrains, outdoors and indoors. And to adapt to the needs of each site, they can easily switch from hybrid to full electric mode. A more intuitive man-machine interface is directly accessible from the basket of the platform featuring an energy consumption indicator, remaining working time, and is offered as a connected solution to manage fleets efficiently in real time... simplify the use of your machine for all participants, operators and managers →

Stay Connected

Monitor and control your equipment in real time with Manitou’s cutting-edge connectivity. With remote access via a web portal or mobile app, you can check a machine’s location, control machine access, diagnose faults and check maintenance status at any time. Whatever brand of machine you have, Connected Machines ensures increased productive and easier ownership.

This function is accessed through two ways depending if you are a fleet manager or a solo owner.

Fast, effective maintenance

Whether you work in construction, industry or agriculture, these services are designed to meet your performance and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) needs.

• Your machine data is at your fingertips in real time: you have one-click access to all the machine information and an overview that makes it easier to analyze and make decisions.

• You can contact maintenance professionals at any time via the application, get expert advice and remote support.

• Technicians have real-time access to machine data for early maintenance, reducing total cost of ownership and downtime.

• Your machines are under control wherever you are: 24/7 monitoring (location, state of health, travel, consumption, machine alerts, theft risk prevention)..
