process All of our stationery and paper products are laser-cut. Laser-cutting is an advanced technology that uses a directed, high-power laser beam to cut a computer-specified pattern. Each of our designs are drawn, input into the computer, and then translated by the laser-cutter to create our cards. Aesthetically, the result is reminiscent of the ancient paper cutting art form and yet the technology allows for intricate patterns to be cut with ease, speed, and perfection. Some browning may occur due to the inherent process of laser-cutting. However, our goal is to always achieve as minimal burn as possible and deliver a cleanly-cut card.
paper & packaging We strive to use paper that is made from 100% post-consumer recycled fibers and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The papers are manufactured using nonpolluting renewable energy. Mill processes, including packaging, are environmentally preferable. Our envelopes are environmentally conscious: made with factories using green, onsite energy, FSC certified and recycled papers, and of course made in the USA. Single cards are packaged in crystal clear certified compostable EarthFirst PLA film.
our papers Our signature white cards use Sundance 100 PC White 110 lb. cover stock paper. Flat stationery is cut on luxuriously thick Classic Crest Solar White 165 lb. cover stock. We feature duplex stock- paper with two colors- to highlight each card’s inherent depth. The 120 lb. Classic Duplex papers pair a rich color (red, royal blue, gray, or black) with a bright white interior. New this year, we are introducing the use of 105 lb. Sorbet Duplex papers. This stock features bright color combinations: pink and green, green and blue, and blue and purple.
