Who’s Who In The Company EDYTA SLIWINSKA – is known
for being the only professional dancer on all 10 seasons of Dancing With The Stars, partnered with Evander Holyfield, George Hamilton, Joey Lawrence, John Ratzenberger, Cameron Mathison, Jason Taylor, Lawrence Taylor, Jeffrey Ross, Ashley Hamilton, and Aiden Turner. Edyta has been on the Dancing With The Stars tour and was featured in the fitness section of the new book. Edyta is a 5 time US National Finalist. In addition to many Polish commercials Edyta was featured in the “Kay Jewelers” commercial in the US and recently guest starred in CBS hit series CSI: NY. Edyta and Alec recently produced an instructional DVD “Dancing like the Pros” and a fitness DVD “Fitness with the Pros.” Edyta was born in Warsaw, Poland. She started to dance when she was 10 years old. Edyta became a successful ballroom dancer in Poland and achieved a world-class status representing Poland on International competitions all over the world. In addition to that she appeared in several Polish TV commercials and magazine adds. She moved to America in 2000 to pursue her dance career, after she met Alec Mazo at the ballroom dance competition in England. Edyta and Alec became a successful partnership ever since. They were four times US finalists and represented America on many international championships. Edyta has been on every Dancing With The Stars tour and modeled in the fitness section of Dancing With The Stars book.
ALEXANDER
ANDREEV (aka Sasha) – was born in East Russia and began dancing at the age of 7. Quickly Sasha won championship in East Russian competitions in numerous age categories (junior, youth, and adults). He also won competition in Japan (2000) and China (Harbin 2003). In 2003 Sasha moved to Moscow where he graduated from Moscow University as well as competed in the finals of many international competitions. He relocated to US in 2007 and during his first year in US he won many major US competitions such as Emerald Ball in LA, 20 pittsburghsymphony.org
Empire state dance sport championships in New York, San Diego dance sport championships and Golden state challenge in Orange County.
LILIT AVAGYAN – Raised in
Armenia, she is 23 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. Lilit was trained in ballet for 9 years. She studied dance in Europe and moved to America on 2001. She was twice former national champion of the US. Lilit represented the country in 2008 in Australia. She was the semi-finalist of the Rising Star Competition in England. Winner of the Rising Star open-to-the-world competition in Florida in 2010. She is a guest performer on Dancing With The Stars and other televised showcases. Lilit has been teaching for 6 years. And she’s still dancing and competing around the country.
C.J. BAIR – C.J. began dancing at
age 16 at Center Stage Performing Arts Studios in Orem, UT. He specializes in Latin Ballroom and has competed in numerous competitions all over the world and has been trained by some of Dancesports top coaches. He later began dancing professionally in various theater productions such as Rick Robinson’s Evolutions of Dance, Return to Christmas and Latin Fusion. Shortly after he joined Louis Van Amstel’s touring production of Invitation to Dance. Since 2009 he has been touring with Ballroom with a Twist.
VERONIKA CHERNYAVSKA – Born in Lviv, Ukraine in 1987, Veronika Chernyavska started her dance career at the age of 8 practicing traditional folk dancing. Upon her arrival to the States at the age of 11, she started training in Latin American dancing. Veronika has had the privilege of working with world-renowned coaches including Louis Van Amstel, Shirley Ballas, and Allan Tornsberg. On the ballroom competition circuit throughout the States and abroad, Veronika has earned numerous titles in the Latin American division.
