umpherston Golf Club is situated in the village of Pumpherston on the outskirts of Livingston in West Lothian.
Our course offers a true test for golfers of all abilities and we are within easy reach of both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and the major motorway networks in Scotland.
Founded in 1895, it was originally a ninehole layout, but was extended to 18 holes in 2002 with the project receiving worldwide acclaim for creating a truly ‘green’ golf course.

The new course designed by Graeme Webster quickly became recognised as one the best in the region. It contains numerous water features throughout the 6,000-yard par-70 layout and the greens are constructed to USGA standard.
We offer several practice areas including driving range, short game improvement area, practice bunkers and a large USGAspec putting green to sharpen your game prior to playing. To make your day more enjoyable, we also offer buggy and trolley hire.
Our Professional is always on hand to provide advice and tuition to help you develop your game. We are a friendly club, welcoming both members and visitors and have become a favourite destination for golfing parties. Do come and see us soon.
