THE LIONS CLUB OF PINELANDS PLANTS TREES ON ARBOR DAY

Arbor Week, in the first week of September, raises awareness about the importance of trees. In South Africa Arbor Week highlights one common and one rare species. The common tree chosen for this year is the Common Wild Fig. There are two rare trees - the Common bush-cherry and the Bead-bean tree.
The Lions club of Cape Town situated in Pinelands celebrated Abor day by planting three trees at Vista Nova high school in Pinelands.
