Information For all Workshop/Classes It is advisable to come suitably dressed in loose comfortable clothing. At the end of the session there will be a period of time dedicated to deep relaxation. The body will cool down considerably at this time, so a shawl or an extra top would be advisable. Bring a bottle of water, take off your shoes and socks and remember your watch too! It is also advisable to bring a towel, as shower facilities are not available. It is advisable not to eat two hours before class and for maximum benefits, not less than one hour after. Please advise the teacher of any ill health or problems, especially heart conditions, epilepsy, high or low blood pressure prior to any workshop. Mats will be provided, there is no need to bring your own.

Workshop/Class Levels Beginners This class is suitable for the absolute to Yoga, The very basics of the practice will be covered and experienced. Learn about the Asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), bandhas (body locks), mudras (hand positions) and art of Meditation (silencing the mind). Gentle movements and flowing practice with subtle yet profound benefits, give a beautiful start to this wonderful practice. Intermediate This class will be more challenging than the beginners. This session is ideal for those who have been practicing for at least six months or for those who are relatively flexible, strong and fit. At the end of this session you will thoroughly feel like you have had a good stretch and worked through the whole of your body. Advanced This class is suitable for the absolute Yogi/ini. Ideally for those who have adopted the Yogic lifestyle and practice everyday. There will be advanced postures and techniques that require complete flexibility and bodily strength. Intermediate students are welcome if they would like to be challenged to the next level. Teachers These workshops are aimed at experienced Yoga Teachers/Practitioners. Remember Yoga is UNION, not battle, and certainly not competition. Just do all that you can, this is YOUR time to experience the inner world of yourself. Just remember to BREATHE... Information Admission to Workshops, Lectures and Children’s Room Information Workshop Rooms 1 and 2 An Admission ticket is required for entrance into all workshop/classes that are held in areas 1 and 2. Due to limited number of workshop tickets available for each session, it is advisable to pre-book. Tickets may be purchased online at www.theyogashow.co.uk or by phone on 01787 224040 or in person at The Yoga Show from Stand A8 (subject to availability). Open Classes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Take short introductory classes with leading teachers or simply watch and be inspired. All classes are held in the Open Classes are free to participate. Open Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4 are situated in the main exhibition hall. Open Class 5 is located on the Balcony. Admission to the Open Classes are on a first come first served basis. At the end of each class session participants must leave the areas so the next workshop presenter can set up. If you wish to join the next session please take your place in the queue. It is advisable to go to the area 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. Tickets not required. Lecture Area Get a deeper understanding of the philosophy of yoga and/or keep to date with the changes taking part in the world of Yoga. All lectures are free of charge. The open lecture area is situated in the main exhibition hall, admission to the lecture area is free of charge and entry is on a first come first served basis. At the end of each lecture session participants must leave the area so the next lecture presenter can set up. If you wish to join the next session please take your turn in the queue. It is advisable to go to the area 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. Tickets not required. Children’s Workshop Both entrance to the exhibition for children and the children’s yoga sessions are completely free. The Children’s room is situated in the main hall, please arrive at the children’s room approximately 5-10 minutes prior to the session time (limited spaces and is on a first come first served basis). Tickets not required. This facility is not a crèche, parents must remain with their children. Main Stage The Main Stage area is one of the central focus points of the events, with short demonstrations of performances. Come and be inspired! The Main Stage area is situated on the main hall and admission to this area is free. Tree of Life Meditation Area A scenic nature setting for individuals to commune in the spirt of inner calm. Share your good wishes for the world which will be displayed on the tree of life. Self Realisation Area Everyone is welcome to come along and feel the natural and spontaneous awakening of the potential energy. Garuda Demonstration Area James D’Silva will be demonstrating workouts on the Garuda Pilates machines over the weekend.

Yoga for You and Your Baby with Tara Lee - Mothers & Babies Tara Lee will teach a sample yoga class for mothers and babies. Tara teaches pre and post natal yoga and dynamic yoga and has released a series of DVDs entitled ‘Bump, Birth and Beyond’. Optimum Ageing Secrets with Howard Napper It is widely accepted that our genetics are only responsible for around 20% of the way we age the rest is down to how we live our lives. But what does that mean, and what do we need to do in order to look and feel our best as we age? Using a combination of yoga and other respected techniques, this workshop aims not only to explore the physical effects of aging, but also to explain the role of diet, as well as how the aging process can effect us psychologically.
