01 Peninsula Federal Credit Union Financial Design Sketchup 20,000 SF - Escanaba, MI
Peninsula Federal Credit Union began as an occupational charter for Escanaba’s paper company employees. Since then they have become a community charter serving all persons living or working in the Upper Peninsula. This led to a need for a larger administration building that not only provides financial services but also training and community rooms that are available to the general public. The main focuses of this project are selection and specification of materials, furniture, and fixtures.

Study Abroad Summer 2016
I spent four weeks immersed in an intensive study abroad experience under the teaching of Professor Wei Dong. I traveled to Beijing, Chengdu, Shangai, Suzhou, and Xian studying Eastern design principles, environmental topics, and global health. I went out of my comfort zone, embraced eastern culture, took in everything I could learn, and began the fall semester viewing design projects from the perspective of what I had learned from my study abroad experience.
