Civil Services Examination: 3 Stages Preliminary Test (Objective Type) Mains Written Exam (Written examination) Interview
Prelims Examination The examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. â?–Both question paper will be of the objective type(multiple questions). â?–The question paper will be set in both language Hindi and English However, question relating to English language Comprehension Skills of class X level will be tested through passage from English language without providing Hindi Translations thereof in question paper.
Main Examination • The written exam consists of following papers: • Paper A( One Indian language to be selected by the candidate from the language included in Eighth schedule of Constitution ) (300 marks) • Paper B English (300 marks) • Paper on Indian Language and English will be of qualifying level i.e. of matriculation or equal standard.
