With the CeC, the local government envisions the Municipality of Mlang as an IT literate, responsible and progressive community as it aims to uplift the socio-economic and spiritual conditions of the people in the community through Information Technology Cortado said, the establishment of Mlang Community e-Center was made possible through the leadership of Municipal Mayor Joselito F. Piñol, Vice Mayor Hon. Russel Abonado and Sangguniang Bayan members with the

technical assistance and Information Technology facilities from the National Computer Center and the Central Mindanao Computer School as a partner institution in the conduct of the various ICT training program. The program was implemented to help the out of school youth especially the poor and deserving students whose parents can’t afford expensive education in colleges and universities. The implementation also includes the Barangay Officials, Professionals and Women’s who has no background about computers.
