Butuan City gov’t intensifies security this Yuletide Season by Robert E. Roperos
BUTUAN CITY – With the coming of the Yuletide Season, the city government here has intensified security to ensure public safety, which is also embodied in the Caraga Regional Development Plan .
In an interview with a local radio station here, City Councilor Ryan Anthony Culima, chairman of the committee on peace and security said the city government is organizing a Special Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit Active Auxiliary (SCAA) to augment the po-
lice force in an effort to achieve peace and security in the city. Culima said the city government has coordinated with officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to jointly train the newly-recruited SCAAs. The official added
