150K awaits 3rd Agri-Aqua Tourism Trade Fair winners by Nida Grace B. Tranquilan
SURIGAO DEL SUR -- A total of P150,00 cash prizes await the 3rd Agri-Aqua Tourism Trade Fair winners, in time for the celebration of the 9th Lanuza Surfing Festival 2011.
The competition will be joined by the 13 barangays of Lanuza. Local products as souvenir items will also be displayed in their respective booths during the weeklong celebration. Accordingly, this year’s competition
mechanics include the following criteria: Backyard Gardening in every household (40%); Implementation of Solid Waste Management (20%); Booth Dressing and Display (20%) and; Sales of Goods during the weeklong
Surfing Festival Celebration (20%). The contest is an annual activity of the local government unit in support of the implementation of Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
